Finally, Back to Normal

Whew!!! DH's graduation is over, DD's graduation is over, the party is over, family has come & gone, & now I can breathe!:dazed :dazed Can't wait to start stayin on top of what's going on here at DC again, not to mention get back on track for planning our August & Oct trips. Just wanted to say "Hi" & let you all know I've missed "being with" you!:) :D :) :D

Glad to see you back ilvminnie! :) And Congratulations on all of the graduations. You've been very very busy. DD isn't graduating, but I'll be a lot happier this next Thursday when she's out of school. When she gets a break I finally get a break too.

You're so right Tink. Of course I cried at both graduations, but DH's meant just that much more knowing he perservered & finally got it 25 years after getting out of high school.:love:

That is Great! You know, when I got out of HS and went to college, I just didn't appreciate it like I do today. When I went back after being in the workforce a long time, it meant so much more to me (my grades showed it too :laugh ). I can only take a few classes at a time, but I know eventually if I keep chugging away at it, I'll get there. I really hope I we move before the fall semester starts so I can enroll in the new town.

I don't know Fifi's age, but I know she just got her law degree not long ago also, and being pregnant the last semester with a child at home :whistle: She did goooood too :D

Keep up the good work Goofette. Once you're done you'll look back & say "That wasn't so bad" plus you'll have a great feeling of accomplishment. I keep toying with the idea of going back myself, but I just don't think I have the motivation. I'm so proud of you & Fifi & DH for having that motivation & gumption!:love: :love:

It's so good to have you back. I know you must have really enjoyed all of it along with the time with family, however, it has to be nice to have it over with at the same time.

I think that is great that your DH went back to school after all that time out of school, it can't be easy. My DH has not quit going to school--EVER, he has 2 MS and is still in school taking two classes this summer (and teaching 3 classes at a local college).

You're right DisneyTeacher. I'm looking forward to getting back to our regular routine. And now DH, as soon as he gets over his burn-out from his BS, wants to get his masters & teach somewhere. So I guess this is really just a breather...I know it'll be tough again once he starts back, but if that's what he wants to do, I'll support him 100%.:love: :love:
