it is an amazing water park you can start at the top of one ride and if you chose you can stay until you come out in to the river. which can be over a 30 minute water ride .. the last time we went down there I got sunburned so bad I couldnt wear clothes for 3 days. lol and I remember there being a sign at the entrance that said something about Texas version of WDW. its been 6 years I think since we went down there.

I've seen that on the Travel Channel, it looks like a blast. I guess for now we will have to be happy with BB and TL, I don't see a trip to Texas any time soon for our family. (We do have family there, just not the kind we visit often. My grandma lived in the Valley for many years and we would visit her.) Be proud tink, the park looks great.

Tink, I think I saw part of that special also. I only saw the first part, but what I did see there was like a huge toilet type thing. You went down pipings, then at the end you get flushed and dumped into this pond. I think it was waterpark 9, I'm not even sure where it was located, but it looked So Funny! I'll have to watch the whole special now.

The Waterpark near you, how far do you have to drive to get there?

we live 8 hours from Schlitterbahn's its located down between Austin and San Antonio. I knew when we were watching the show on the travel channel and BB came in at number 2 .. that Shlitterbahn's would have to be number 1. would you believe they have these pool size "hot tubs" that have individual tables and a bar in the center. Tubing is a big time thing down in south texas on the rivers. Schitterbahn's like WDW never seems to stop growing.
