ok so here is the story ya got to hear this one Im venting.. Im in work and of course we were talking about vacation and where we are all going. so I mention i have so many days to vacation and someone laughing says "should we guess where you are going?" I say disney of course.[though we do go other places]..someone said they dont see how we could go so much.. dont we get bored. I mention the feeling you get when you see the castle for the first time. it was all nice kind of kidding. one of the other people I work with yells from her cubicle really yells????? IT IS NOT EVEN A REAL CASTLE. not like in germany THEN STARTS GOING ON AOBUT DISNEY BEING THE EVIL CORPORATION RUN BY THE DEVIL.

im not kidding.

I tried to make a joke out of it but then she says how she went as a teen ager and grew out of it and Im obsessed . and keeps on ranting about the evil corporation of disney.. I just walked away saying i had to get coffee. I just had to vent. thanks as always for listening

Well we should all consider ourselves servants of the devil and heed his call to have a wonderful time with family and friends and by gosh darn it we have to smile and laugh and eat till we are stuffed and suffer along with everyone else who has answered the call to go to......

Your responce could have been "well like your love for being a bitter nasty (insert insult here), I love to go to WDW"...lol or...how about "well at least I have a family to take to WDW....or how about "you never out grow being a child at heart, but you probally never were one".....om..I could go on forever. Everyone thinks I am nuts, but no one ever dares to question why I keep going. They just know it makes me happy and that's enough.
This person sounds like a nasty old hag....regardless of her age..that's what she is. Who yells stuff like that in the office??

I love you guys... she is very loud on a regular basis and not a very nice person. I try to get along with everyone.. and try to at least listen to their interests. she is jsut very bitter.

UM DUH . . . the reason we go is to ESCAPE reality and live in the wonderful world of Fantasy . . . just as WALT intended us too!!

Some just don't get it . . . I'm all for real too . . . like one day I'd like to REALLY travel the world . . . but since it's NOT in my budget . . . World Showcase gives me the feel for it, the history of it . . . and the people to talk too!!

i am called an obsessed lunatic.This is the running joke at work. Because I have my countdown calendar, and during free time I work on my vacation (planning) and they all ask why do you go every year, b/c I LOVE IT THERE!!!I tell them that if they would ever go they would see why.

I can think of a lot of other corporate "Devils"

*What about the arcade in the mall. YOu can pay the same as a day at Disney in about an hour
*Those stupid traveling carnivals....I refuse to pay a fortune for a bunch of scary non thematic rides that you can finish riding in an hour
* ONE KID ONE MOVIE ONE POPCORN ONE DRINK $20.00. That goes a long way for a Disney ticket and you can see a live show at most of the parks
