My one and only nearby store made both lists. I don't understand why they would close mine, it's only been open about a year and they made it all fancy with huge mouse ears over the front of the building.

Was at the Logan Mall today and the are closing according to the manager here. The only ones that are staying open is The one in Hershey, King of Purissa and Southern Hill.

DRAT! We don't have a Disney Store near us so when we go home to MO we always go to Independence Center and Zona Rosa. Both of those are on the list! Now, where do we go? I guess more internet shopping for me!

This list is a little more accurate. But the store in Sarasota, FL is for sure closing. I just spoke with the store today. But the Ft Myers store is going to remain open. SO happy!

I live in Middletown, NY and just saw that our store was closing, and figured the one in Poughkeepsie would, too. In regards to the list MairinMaureen posted, I really doubt that the store in Danbury, CT will close. Their original store closed several years ago, and this new one opened only a few years ago, and it's a new style store. Danbury, CT used to be the closest Disney Store to me before the Middletown and Poughkeepsie malls opened. I have a feeling that the store in West Nyack, NY is safe as well.

Well, I just went to the Crystal Mall in Waterford CT and it's closing. SOme deals were GREAT while others weren't so great. I'm so upset because not only is my store closing but I got a stinking ticket for traveling the same stinking speed as everyone else!!!! I wont even go into the price. Proves you shouldn't be last in line!
For the other store in our area, Warwick, RI it's staying open. It's not as good as Crystal Mall CT but what can you do. It's better than nothing!
