Have you tried Clinique City Block? It's super light! It works really well and is hypoallergenic . . . pricey, but a little goes a long way, and even if you apply everyday (I do, I LIVE in FL!) it bottle lasts about 3-4 months!

Clinique | Sun + Body | Sun Protection | City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector SPF 25

I don't think I have ever seen stick sunblock...I'll be on the lookout for it.

I have skin allergies and have to be careful what I use. The only sunscreen I can use is the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin sunscreen. I use their lotions too without to much trouble. Now, if I could only find a bug spray that wouldn't bother me.

HairCareChoices.com - Nexxus, Goldwell, Scruples and Joico

Ti-Silc Scalp Defense Spray SPF 20 by ProCyte 4oz: Compare Prices, View Price History and Read Reviews at NexTag

The second one has a higher SPF...I just have to make sure it doesn't sting.

WOW, that second one is expensive!

I have thin hair and need protection. Honestly, I often take regular spray-on sunscreen and shoot it across my part. Greasy is not the problem- it makes your hair look a little less shiny, and it acts like hairspray.

I've also used this:
Baby Blanket Scalp Sunscreen Spray For Babies SPF 45+

It works well for adults, too, although it gives your hair the same "sort of stiff" quality. It's not too bad, though, and brushing your hair after it's dried helps it soften up a lot.

I can not use bug sprays either and was a mosquito blood bank when I was a kid. Someone told my mom to put Bounce dryer sheets in my pockets. They really work as a bug/mosquito repellent. The dryer sheets have to be the scented kind, but bugs/mosquitos hate them. It is also cost-effective if you buy them in a bulk store like Sam's or Costco, much cheaper than bug spray.

Re: Can anyone help with this?

Thanks Andrea. That looks like a good one too and MUCH cheaper.

I doubt many people put this much thought into their sunscreen purchase. I can see myself at the store now....do I want this one? Or do I want this one?

Re: Can anyone help with this?

At AKL, I picked up a golfer's straw hat. It looks like a fedora. The brand name is Dorfman Pacific Headwear. It's a very good looking hat. Here is their catalog address. DorfmanPacific: Mens Spring & Summer 08 The one I have from Disney is in the Twisted Seagrass Section. Middle right with the blue band. The very top of the hat inside the raised edge has a cloth guard to keep the sun from getting through. But, the raised edge on the top doesn't to allow air flow.

They had some cute hats in their Women's catalog. I liked a lot of their bucket hat styles. I wonder if they have those anywhere else at Disney. We won't be at AKL until day 3. Then again, we could always make a quick stop there on Day 1. I also wonder, did they have a lot of various styles at AKL?

I love that hat. My DH is always and forever buying cool hats. I wonder if he'd like that one. Thanks for posting that link, Tony

Re: Can anyone help with this?

Today I bought a sunscreen stick. Banana Boat Sport 30 SPF. It said specifically on the bottle for face and scalp. It also said that it wouldn't sting. I thought it was a good option since it was only about $3. If it does sting, I won't be out a lot of money.

I think I will still look into a good hat too. I think maybe something silly. Dopey is right, it is Disney!

Re: Can anyone help with this?

I don't like hats either, but this one has and adjustable rim and it's supposed to block the uv rays. I haven't tried it but thought you may be interested. (By the way, the stick sunscreens are great and don't sting the face - I have terribly sensitive skin and these are ok for me)

Re: Can anyone help with this?

Hmm, my link didn't work right, but QVC sells this hat. The name is UPF 50 Packable Asymmetrical Brim Sun Hat w/ Adjustable Tie and it costs $21. I went to the qvc.com site and searched for sun hats.

I heard that too so I tried it. Didn't work, at least not for me.

Is is possible you used the unscented? I used them once and they did not work at all. I also try to stick with Bounce specifically. I have used some other brands without success. Bounce always seems to do the trick for me though. I hope you had one of these issues and can give Bounce another try as I know how awful it is to be eaten alive by mosquitos.

Good luck!
