How about some stunna shades? The big kind that cover the majority of your face.... won't even need sunscreen. That will definitely top off the look.

My son and my niece have the same problem--we can only use Neutrogena Sensitive Skin sunscreen, but it is great! I would definitely try it!

Walmart has a dabber by Ocean Potion that is made for the face and scalp. It is supposed to be non greasy. It was only $2.97 and I thought about you when I saw it.

Whoa! 60 SPF! That would be wonderful in the Florida sun.

I've heard that once you pass 50 spf, they're all the same. It's not the spf... but how often you apply.

Good luck!

Re: Can anyone help with this?

Ooh, sorry to hear about your scalp burn - ouch!

I tried using spray sunscreen on my head this trip since I have thin hair and always burn. When I sprayed the sunscreen on my hair after it was already styled and dried, it was a disaster. It made my hair really stiff and straw like and just gross.

The next morning I tried regular lotion sunscreen on my part BEFORE drying and styling and that worked a little better but it still made for a slightly odd texture.

In the end, I went as long as I could hatless but often had to resort to putting on my hat around 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon when I could feel my head getting hot.

Good luck and let me know if you find something that works!

Re: Can anyone help with this?

I bought a squishable straw hat at WDW years ago - very sophisticated. A Mickey head etched in the straw. It's got a big brim that you can wear folded up or down and it packs flat. It looks cool and it is. Also a "Tilley Hat" is made specifically to deflect the sun's rays. They're pricey, but well worth the money - and if it gets lost it'll be replaced for free.

Also, ask the pharmacist about a sunscreen that will give you protection, but not irritate your skin. My dd is a pale blonde and with her working outside at Epcot we asked the pharmacist what they could recommend. They gave her a "behind the counter" 60 spf that's worked really well for her. Try it on a patch of your skin before applying it.
