my Disney fear just came true
I have been checking the 10 day weather on MSN.com for the past few days. The 1st day I checked on it 5-21 was going to be high of 92 and sunny same for the next but today I checked and RAIN for all the days so far that I can see!!!! What in the world!!!!! Do you think it will change or do I need to go cry under a rock now??

No need to worry until you're there and it's pouring. It's the start of the summer rains, hopefully it will be a short afternoon shower and that's it.
Does this look any better? 10 Day Weather Forecast for Orlando, FL - weather.com doesn't look like all day rain any day.

I think we are getting into the season where it rains most every afternoon. It is usually sunny all morning and early afternoon, then around 2pm to 5pm a thundershower rolls through. Then it clears up and is sunny the rest of the evening.

Test track may close but almost every ride stays open unless it's just pouring down and it's not safe. The summer rains we've seen have never lasted more than 30-60 minutes. We just hit a show and by the end of the show the rain is uaually over and the sun it out again.

Rides like Big Thunder Mountain and Indy Speedway will probably shut down temporarily. Most other rides are indoors so you will be able to get in line and enjoy.

Wear some waterproof shoes (crocs, etc) and buy a poncho and stick around...during the late spring and summer months it either has a chance of rain or it rains every day....it usually clears out the parks. If you stick around...it should pass fairly soon and you'll notice lighter crowds for awhile anyway!

Don't worry . . . weather in Fl changes DAILY . . . you can wake up and it's overcast . . . and then turns SUNNY! It can be SUNNY and start raining (then you get a PRETTY rainbow outta the deal!)
Stop watching the weather . . . it is what it is, you can't control it . . . just bring your ponchos and take one day at a time. There are PLENTY of enclosed rides/events you can run into if you have too . . . either way . . . you will have a BLAST!!! Heck you're in WDW!!

My DH and I always joke, if you don't like the weather in FL, wait 15 mins.
Seriously, there is plenty to do in the rain. Most rides stay open, think of all the inside attractions. It usually only rains in the afternoons and then it passes. Keep checking right up until the day you leave, weather in FL changes very often. Plus having spent the entire winter in FL, even when they are reporting the current weather for an area, it is incorrect. I know the weather is not going to keep you from having a great time.

No matter what the report says, I have to echo the advice: Bring ponchos! Because when it does rain, it POURS down! And if it does rain, it won't last long... but even a few minutes can soak you when the sky opens up!
