Local pet store has "Found Nemo!"

Hey guys, I thought this was so cute I just had to post it.
Anyways this past saturday I was at my local pet store to look at prices for saltwater tanks with a friend, and on the door read the sign "We found Nemo!! Come on in to see him!" Well in the back, next to the saltwater tanks there was alittle crowd of little kids screaming and laughing at the top of there lungs, and low and behold there was a little salt water tank with a little Baby ClownFish that resembled the recent disney Superstar!! lol, there also was a Blue fish in there, that is a character in the movie but I forget what it's name is. I just thought it was so clever for the Pet store to get in on the act, and provide alittle magic for the kids that just saw the movie. And Im pretty sure there clownfish sales have skyrocketed since!! lol Isn't that just a great story? lol

Hey, our movie theatre had a giant tank and stand filled with 20 clown fish. It was a contest in honor of the movie. Great prize, that thing had to be worth some moola. This is a fantastic movie that really does Disney, Pixar, Animation, and Undersea films a lot of well deserved justice. Can't wait to see how Nemo starts turning up in WDW, then again Monsters, Inc was very successful too. :hmmm

We saw Nemo Friday night. Came home and our two-year-old Beta fish had passed on. Very sad, but even more ironic, don't you think? We rushed to the pet store the next day for a replacement.

And then on Sunday, my in-laws took my 3 year old DD on her first fishing trip. She caught (and returned) a bas.

It was a very FISHY weekend!!!!!!

Cute advertising! My DD used to want aquarium until she saw the movie. She told me "Mommy I think it is mean for the fish to have to live in a little fish tank. They all need to live in the ocean with their families."

Lol, I knew you guys would love it! Sorry to hear about the Betta Duchess:cry: , I have 2 bettas of my own, its sad when you lose a fish. Well Guys Im going to see Finding Nemo TONIGHT! right after my banquet for a club im in. I can't wait!!! I'll let you all know if I liked it, I've heard nothing but great reviews!

Well guys I saw Finding Nemo last night!!! It was amaaaazing!!!!!:D It has everything a good movie should have! It was sooo funny too, Elen DeGeneres really did a great job (as did all the other characters) But she was my favorite! The Special Effects are amazing as well, it really looks like your under water! I really loved it!:love: Well now that I did all this great advertising for Finding Nemo, you think Disney will send me a check? lol:laugh . No but really, I suggest this movie to every person at any age!

when joe told me this story i thought taht it was sooo kewl. i think that bringing a little magic ot some small town kids is so clever of the store owners, but i bet that they thought of it as some way to get free publicity. tahts the only thing that i dont like aobut it though, i thought it was amusing.
