How is your leg? Are you still planning to go on your trip?

Thanks for asking rlander.

My leg is still hurting quite a bit and having trouble walking. Have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor later this week. Last Saturday, my DW and I went to the local mall for a short trip and to see how I get around. Found out I did not do too well. And The next day I was in a lot of pain.

We are still going to do our trip to WDW but we both know that we will be takking our time and will probably not get to do everything. Will see what the doctor tells me. We are considering renting one of the electric vehicles to help get around.

The good thing is that we are staying at the Poly and We will be spending most of our time at MK since this is our 2 DSs first trip. Plans are for me to take several breaks and if I start hurting too bad, I can go back to the Poly and rest. We have discussed with our sons and they are OK with spending a lot of time at the pools if necessary (both of them love to swim).

My DW statement is " A bad day on vacation is better than a good day at work"! So we are going to take our time, rest lots, and enjoy the magic of WDW as best we can. :)

Hope we may run into you while we are there.
We are planning on visiting the WL one day to let our DSs see the Lodge, my DW and I got to see the WL last year when we were resort hopping before a cruise, and we loved the atmosphere.

We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We plan to be at Poly for dinner at O'hana on June 16th at 5pm. If your around at that time we could meet in person.

I agree with your wife 100%. I only have 8 good days of work left before we leave.

We have PS for Fantasmic Dinner package for 5:00 on the 16th.

We will probably be at the WL on June 17 around noon.

Or we may run into you in the parks. Will have a Marshall University hat on, trying to handle 2 sons(6 &3), I am a large person, and will not be walking well.:dazed

We will all be wearing our red "guest of honor" nametags. Look for me and my wife with a boy 8 and a girl 5. My son & I will most likely be wearing a Notre Dame hat, and my daugter will be wearing pink princess hat.

WVWISEGUY...I hope it all works out for you. The good thing is that your kids are young and won't realize how much they will miss if you need to miss somethings. I hope you will let us know how it goes. If you are going to be in pain, why not be in pain at WDW? Take care...

another clue to notice if it is me, is that my children will have on the guest of honor badges. And my 3 yr old DS will also have on Buzz Lightyear tennis shoes that have lights on them. Buzz is his favorite and he cannot wait to see him.
