my granddaughter just drew this .. makes me wonder if maybe she is trying to tell me I am on here too much?

she just turned 14 last month .. this isnt her best work .. she did it in just a couple of minutes.. and didnt really clean it up even, just came propped up in front of me

lol she would shoot me for framing that ..it not her best. I didnt think she could amaze me as far as her sketching talent until last week .. she put the DVD player on pause and drew Capt Amelia and Dr. Delbert Doppler embraced. Normally she takes a little more time, but she did that quickly .. as I said she didnt even clean it up.

but I thought it was cute .. what really did amaze me was how well she did my chair and she was in the other room

She's really talented not just with her drawing ability but also with her ability to transform her thoughts/impressions into a drawing! She's obviously very bright, too!

There is a very famous country singer who started college majoring in art. She was very talented at drawing and could easily "recreate" reality; but, her teacher said that she really was not creative. Instead of adding a loose shingle to the barn to make it more interesting, she just drew it as she saw it. Your granddaughter already has that part down. Of course, the country singer is famous now -- but not for her art!

You should be very proud of her! :) :) :)
