I am also WDW Sick!!
DH and I have this funny thing we do and it seems to last for several months after we get back from a trip and then it starts again a couple of months before we are to be back at WDW. What it is, is that everything that can possibly come up in conversation turns into do you wish you were doing that at WDW or if there is nothing to do in the evenings and DD is in bed we are just sitting around bored DH will suddenly say: Do you wish you were at Disney World right now? or If you were at Disney World what would you be doing? or Do you wish you were on Pirates right now? and so on and so on. We think it's kinda funny and we've just always done this.![]()

its called PDD which can be either Post Disney Depression or if your time to go is still too far off (like mine) its Pre Disney Depression... I have it all year long. the only cure is to go to WDW... therapy is DisneyCentral.. all though be warned of therapy side effects .. which are being very jealous of everyone that lives close enough to go to WDW any time they feel the urge and jealous of everyone that just came back or is doing the single digit dance .. also other known side effects are a numb butt from sitting at the computer reading trip reports and everyones helpful tips and suggestions ..also that is not blurred vision ..its pixie dust in your eyse

WDW Sick
Yes I am WDW sick. Here it is 5:00pm and I should be fixin dinner but I am on Disney Central getting my daily fix. We went to Disney May 16-20 and had a GREAT time. We are planning our next trip for May of next year too,but my sister is talking about going in Oct. when the kids get a break from school and I am trying to figure out how to wiggle a trip in with her. Got to save some money.......I also look at the pictures we took while we were there everyday and turn in every conversation in to a Disney one and it is driving my family nuts!:!: :)

I checked with the CDC in Atlanta today and they confirm that the cases of PDD are on the rise. The only cure is to go to Disney. Rumor has it that Disney was contacted by the CDC and this is the reason for the recent unbelievable deal called the "Fairy Tale Package". It is really a joint operation between Disney and the CDC to stop the rising number of cases of PDD!:)
Don't ya just love conspiracy theorys????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too have been suffering from PDD for about 2 weeks. It gets rough sometimes, but for those surges in PDD, I turn to DC. Of course, sometimes DC can drastically worsen the symptoms of PDD, but we have to keep fighting it. I understand the Fairy Tale Package has helped some folks to temporarily relieve the PDD, but only to have it return at a later date...and sometimes stronger. Just remember...you are not alone...

I'm ilvminnie, & I have PDD!!! It's actually chronic, with flare-ups occurring regularly. It can be contagious, but only certain individuals seem to be fertile recipients. I'm afraid there is no "cure," just treatment for the symptoms. Have considered moving to Orlando & working for WDW as treatment. That treatment is still under consideration.:)

Oh my, it's been WAY too long since I've checked in. The last time I was around here, there was only 2 Big Cheeses. Now we have a few PLUS some Meisters. Man, do I have a lot of catching up to do.
Going to have to put a countdown clock up soon. Just figured out that we're going down to WDW in September (my family's favourite time of the year). This year's going to be better I think - some of you might remember I had to get home and sell my house FAST. That was a little stressful... Anyways, my wife, DD and I are heading back down with my parents, and sister and her husband. It's just over 90 days to go...and already I am doing the drooling. I mean the warm weather in Toronto is just kicking in, and I'm looking forward to September. I play volleyball 4 nights a week, and the beach v-ball tourney season just really got going AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER!!! What's up with that? It's a good thing that I am a very busy person - it's gonna make the days FLY by. You can bet that I'm going to be around a whole lot more these days. See you real soon... BuzzLB

I plan on curing my illness in about 16 days, it has been recommended that I take a weekend trip, once a month for the next few months...I was also told that if I get some APs for my family we may be able to avoid this in the future :)

Well Leslie, you are so right about Disney. I would love to be listening to the British Invasion. You could sure tell your my daughter!!! We've taught you well!!!!
I also agree with the rest of you, yes I also have PDD. Just got back on May 18th, and yes, I'm ready to go back again!!!:heart We have friends that actually think we are nuts, because you could be just talking, and I don't know how it happens, but we seem to always talk about DW. My DH & I just feel so relaxed, with no problems, and best of all, it seems all our aches & pains go away (at least for a little while)!!!!! :) JOANN ![]()

Why would anyone ever want to do that???? Of all the things someone could be addicted to.... Mickey and WDW are pretty harmless.
