Short Trip Itinery

Well our trip to WDW (short weekend trip) is in 2 weeks (WOO HOO). Here is what we have planned:

Day 1 - Me and my friend are leaving tampabay area at 9am, with our kids (2 for me and 3 for her). We plan on stopping for some breakfast, taking our time driving there. Check into CSR at noon, take all the kids to the pool (heard it is really cool) and spend the day by the pool. Our hubbys are driving together over to WDW around 3pm. Plan on going to BoardWalk and hopefully getting in to ESPN Club for dinner (this would be my 14 yr olds huge thrill, especially if he can play playstation during dinner :dazed ). Walk around the Boardwalk, and then back to our rooms.

Day 2 - Magic Kingdom day!! We plan on having as much fun as humanly possible :) :D :) :D

Day 3 - PS at Cape May Cafe for Breakfast. After breakfast heading down to DTD, to explore. Around 5pm, we plan to head home...and start planning the next long weekend to WDW(we still have AK, MGM & Epcot to conquer!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

That sounds like fun. I wish I lived close enough to do lots of short little trips. You are so lucky.

I agree also I wish that we lived closer so that we could do a short week-end trip. Maybe someday we will move down there.

Sounds like you have a great trip planned!! One of these days I'd like to try the ESPN Club for dinner, my son would get a kick out of that too!!

We're still kicking around that idea of retiring down there so we can do those short trips. I'm sooooo jealous! Have a wonderful time.

ilvminnie, that is the awesome thing about being down here :)
We truely can go to Disney anytime we please. Plus it is nice to be able to just go to visit DTDand the Market area.

I will let you know how our trip goes. Hopefully smoothly we are traveling with a 10 monthold, 17 monthold and 2 yr old.
(the 8 yr old & 14 yr old should be the easy ones

)

Yeah!! I will!! I hope to get good use out of our AP's too this year. Mostly we can only go on Sundays because of my DS sports on Saturdays. Then during football season, Sundays are out;) So were going to see how it works this year!

Did you ever make it to the Disney Store at tyrone this weekend?

No :madmad I never made it there. We ended up at Westshore Mall to see Finding Nemo (SIL & BIL live in Brandon, so W'shore is 1/2 way for us to meet.) They do not have a Disney store there, or not one that I could find. We are going this weekend as we have to buy our last play 4 pass. Hopefully, they will still have some things on sale :)

Well, at least you got to see Finding Nemo!!! I hope you can still find some good deals!!! Hey, they may be marked down even more now! I often wondered if there were any Disney Stores up north of us. I guess not!

There are Disney Stores in Countryside, Citrus Park (my favorite mall) and Brandon Town Center. I do not think there is a Disney Store in the International Mall. I think the Disney Store in Citrus Park is the biggest one I have seen in a Mall.

We are going to have to go shopping one weekend :)

Like the others I am jealous of you being so close. It takes us at least 8 huors to get there! I would like to hear about the ESPN experience if you get to go. MY DH would love it. What is it near?

LRTJS, ESPN is on the Boardwalk, not too far from Epcot. The Boardwalk is reminiscent of a Beach Town from the 50's/60's...kind of like the Jersey Shore! ESPN is great, the food is good, the atmosphere is good and there are TV's EVERYWHERE, broadcasting every sport you can imagine. THERE ARE EVEN TV'S IN THE BATHROOM STALLS!!! You'll never miss that important PLAY OF THE GAME when you're in the bathroom! You can also play Playstation, as Neen626 said in her original post. These are only in the booths in the bar area, if I am not mistaken. Kids and adults alike are sure to find this place a hit!

SOOOOOOOOO Jealous!!!:cry: I would love to live close enough to make weekend trips (it's a 3 1/2 hour flight for us). DH was born in Orlando and lived in St. Petersburg for quite a while, he would love to move back and I would love it too. Just waiting for a job offer..:laugh
