It was raining so hard the 'street' was full of water, I bet it was 4 inches deep. By the time we made it to Cirque we were all pretty wet, especially Mike. All we could do was laugh because we were wet and there was nothing we could do about it.

IT rained like that one of the nights during our trip. We saw it coming and headed back to WL before the huge downpour. So glad we did, it rained heavy for hours into the late night. IT is the rainy season in FL after all. Hopefully you get better weather. I hope you woke up to a sunny day.

Sounds like you're all having a wonderful time. Glad to hear that Cirque is still so enjoyable. Maybe it's time we went back. Looking forward to the pictures.

Re: We're here!

Cirque is so worth the price of admission, isn't it?? I remember thinking twice (or three times, or four times . . . ) when we first considered buying tickets for the show. We decided, based upon the Mousebuzz reviews, that we'd give it a try. We were mesmerized throughout the entire show!! And vowed that we'd see it again!

Anyway, enjoy Blizzard Beach! Thanks for the live reports.

It's good to hear everyone likes it so much. We have never been, but I don't think we have time time this trip. What is the cost?

Re: We're here!

I've never seen it rain as hard as it does in Orlando! We got one of those soakings once.

Steph - I just love hearing from you right from WDW - it makes it seem a little closer - I've been CRAVING a trip to the World since we got back from the cruise - but I'm afraid to mention it to Neil. So glad you enjoyed Cirque! Keep your reports coming and have fun at BB!!!

Re: We're here!

Ah...Cirque du Soleil. I've still never been! :-( Maybe someday...

Those downpours are awful! We had one here in NYC recently and there's just nothing you can do if you're outside. Even umbrellas are useless so you just gotta start pretending you're a kid and jumping in puddles again :)

Re: We're here!

We're back from our day at BB. We had a blast, we did all the slides 2-3 times each then had lunch. After lunch we decided to do Team Boat Springs one more time. When we got to the top of the slide the sky was black and we could see lightning off in the distance. We got to go down and had time to do one trip around the lazy river before the skies opened up. We hopped out near our spot and by the time we sat down they announced the slides and other things were closed until the weather cleared. We relaxed for maybe 45 minutes before things cleared off and the park was reopened. All Nate wanted to do was the lazy river. I made 2 trips around and I couldn't take it any more--I was freezing. The rain cooled things off so much I was freezing.

Mike and Nate did a couple more laps and we headed out. When we walked out to the bus stop a bus was sitting across from our stop. We sat for a couple of minutes (long enough for Nate to eat his fries) then the driver came over and asked us which resort we were going to. He told us to meet him at the next stop and took us straight back to BC with a stop at the Swan for the other family at the bus stop. It was so cool, he only went to those 2 resorts and picked no one up along the way. BB wasn't crowded at all, I'm not sure we even 5 minutes for any slide, we walked up and on every slide all morning.

I think we're having dinner at the Captain's Grill at Yacht Club and walking over to Epcot for Illuminations as long as the weather is good,it's still cloudy but not raining.

Re: We're here!

I'm amazed at how slow things are at Disney. Blizzard beach is great if you don't have to wait in lines too long. I'm so glad you are having another great trip!

I've been really surprised at how short the lines have been this weekend, either we've gotten really lucky or things are really slow. I expected long lines and packed parks but haven't seen any of that yet.

It doesn't seem busy at all. Stormalong bay was not crowded at all yesterday. I took a picture of the pool about 1:00 yesterday and t was nearly empty in most areas.
