I was wondering if anyone know this.. Also since I have been out of the loop for a little while what is the general discount Disney has offered in Feb?

To answer the question: no theme has been annouced to the best of my knowledge. Maybe they are going to have a themeless year

Nothing has been announced as of yet. However, Disney "years" run from November-November -- the year of a Million Dreams actually began in November '06-- so something should be coming very very soon! I will have to watch a really cool video about it so I'll let ya know as soon as I do!

I can't legally say since Disney is a client of ours, and I would get in huge trouble if anyone ever found out.

But if you go onto Allears.net and search back a bit in Anita Answer's column, she specualtes what it is based on rumours... and I'll just say she's pretty close.

That's very cool that you have some inside Disney info. I will say I'm sad to see Year of a Million Dreams end, it was fun hoping to get a dream. The Dream CMs were some of the nicest CMs we have met, they were always willing to stop and chat with us.

Here's what Anita Answer at All Ears said......

Here's what I've heard the RUMOR MILL saying: The next promotion after the Years and Years of a Million Dreams Celebration (kidding!) is rumored to be (drum roll, please) something called "Magical Celebrations."

According to the Rumor Mill, the emphasis will be on marketing the Disney parks and resorts worldwide to guests celebrating special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, reunions, graduations and the like. It supposedly will be a scaled-down version of the YoMD promotion, with fewer prizes.

Personal Speculation: It sounds to me like a cross between the Magical Gatherings promotion and the YoMD promotion. As I've heard it, this will be a smaller scale placeholder celebration until the launch of Walt Disney World's 40th celebration in 2011. Since none of this has been confirmed by the Walt Disney Company yet, take this information with a big ol' grain of salt. Some Rumor Mill members are saying to expect an announcement later this summer, probably just prior to the release of the 2009 prices and packages.

Ah, that's kinda boring.... I never really cared for the Magical Gatherings theme (though my best friend and I did download the Magical Gatherings planner, and we'd chat on it, together..... but then it stopped working.

). I hope there's something more exciting to it.
