MNSSHP tickets in the mail......

I received yesterday the three MNSSHP tickets in the mail yesterday. What a surprise to find out that they are cards. One has Cinderella and her Prince, the other has the dwarfs riding splash mountain and then Mickey in color and a bunch of other characters around him in black and white.

Would of thought they would of done some special Halloween cards for this. But ah well, these are just as cool.

yeah, I was kinda bummed too that they weren't festive, I was hoping to add special halloween type tickets to my scrapbook page on the party. Oh well. It's such a great time that the tickets didn't matter. I love MNSSHP!!!!!

Those are the kind we always receive for the special ticketed events. I just wish they would make the annual passes out of the plastic card instead of paper!!

Our 3 are Tinkerbell in front of the castle, Mickey, Goofy, and Donald in a teacup, and Mickey, Goofy, and Donald flying over the castle. Yes, I wish that the AP's were made of plastic, they would hold up better.

When I renewed my DDE card in May the new one was paper and I asked why and was told they don't make them in plastic anymore.

Oh that's crazy! I would for sure end up getting it wet, torn or something in a year's time.

They sent you ACTUAL tickets? I believe those aren't the tickets . . . what does the letter say they came with? Those are your vouchers, you have to trade them in at guest services for the tickets.

(someone confirm this . . . I swear this is how it works?)

These cards are REALLY nice! They would make a great addition to a scrapbook after your trip!

As for the paper cards...they hold up REALLY well. You'd be surprised. I still have some paper cards from 1998 or something like that...and they are in perfect condition. They've travelled many trips with us! (we still have PLUS options left on them!)

Yes, those are the real tickets. You can have them mailed to your home, or you can pick them up at guest services. We just got ours in the mail the other day. The letter has the day of the event (also on the back of the ticket). We just like having them in hand prior to going.

Good to know! I've always had vouchers and then had to stand in line at Guest Relations before the event!

I'm glad they changed it!

Do you have to pick an overnight carrier to get the real tickets . . . I always do the FREE regular mail!

Depending on how far in advance you purchase them, no. We had ours delivered by general mail. We purchased them like 60 days prior to our trip, so there was plenty of time for them to b delivered. If it was within a a couple of weeks, I would either have them over-nighted, or would go with a voucher/will call and redeem them at the park when we got there.

We ordered ours and selected Will Call, but now I am wishing we had them sent...I love the pictures on the cards. Found mine from 2 years ago...and wished I had mine now.

Take photo copies of the BACK of your passes with the date and bar code and make copies of your receipt (paper they come stuck to) and put them in your carry-on and in your checked luggage. If you lose them this will get your new passes.

They really aren't paper so they hold up really well. We used ours for 4 trips for over 30 days and they look just fine.
