what is your oldest Disney souvenir??

I have two WDW souvenirs that are more than 15 years old. One is a Mickey Mug and the other is The Official Epcot album. In fact,I can even remember the exact days that I bought them. I bought the mug on Good Friday 1985 and the Official Album the next day. I was wondering how long some of us here have managed to hang onto their WDW souvenirs??

I have a Ferdinand the Bull that was my mothers.
Actually, I am the person in the Disney magazine that sent the letter to Dave Smith.
I have program guides from the 70's when I went there.
The 1st time I went to WDW was in 1998, so I have t-shirts from that visit.

I have several different things that I would love to find out more about but all the searches I have done have come up empty .. like some tiny Disney Charactor bells .. all they have on them is a fancy NE and Disney, I would love to find out something about these bells and a couple of spoons I have from Disney, if there is anyone that knows where I could find out.
this is the Alice in Wonderland bell .. not a good picture really but its very tiny and my digital camera is old

My Mickey Mouse Watch! :)

My oldest is my Mickey Mouse Watch. If I remember correctly, Disney World opened in the fall of 1971. I went with my family in the summer of 1972. In those days the only park was Magic Kingdom.

I was 16. My sister and two brothers each went into a store along Main Street and purchased something. I have no clue what they bought, but I suspect those items are long gone. However, I used my money, less than $20, to buy a Mickey Mouse watch. :D

I wore that watch through the remainder of high school and all through college. I wore it into the early '80's when it broke.

Well, about two weeks ago I mentioned this watch, which I still have, to a local jewler here in Illinois. He said to bring it in and he would try to fix it. And sure enough he was able to repair my 30+ year old watch.

I am really happy to have it again and will be wearing it to work tomorrow. Great post, thanks! :D :p :)

Wow!! That's really nice about your watch. I can't imagine having something like that for over 30 years.

How cool is that!?! I wonder how many folks will be wearing the same watch as you tomorrow? I would be safe in saying no one, I imagine!

I wish I had hung on to some of the Disney stuff I had through the years. With 5 brothers and sisters behind me, alot of our things were passed rather than held on to. I have lots of great memories though...:)

Cinderella Watch
Mickey Mouse Poster (it looks it's age)
Mickey Mouse flashlight necklace
Mickey/Minnie/Scrooge McDuck/Donald/Daisy figurines
Mickey Mouse Ears

All the above are from visits to MK when it first opened in the very early 70's. Mickey

PS. Anyone out there know what a Mickey Mouse Ventriloquist Dummie is worth? I have one in storage.

Since my first trip to WDW was '83 or '84 they're not ALL that old, but DH bought me just about any stuffed animal I wanted. That included my Figment! Of course then DD came along & she kind of "inherited" them all, but he's still down there!!!

Since the first time I ever went to WDW was in 1997, my souveniers are not that old! I have a Winnie the Pooh backpack, which I bring with me every trip!!! I have magnets and tee shirts, as well...the basic stuff. Nothing to blow anyone's socks off....not like SANDANV1's front page of the newspaper from WDW opening day....that's a great keepsake!!!!

I have a book from DL that I got in 1977, it is one of those books that tells the history of walt's dream and how it came to be with pics from construction to completed park. I love it, it's so much fun to look at.

Tinkerbell,
It's the latest one. I can't remember what's on the cover, I have already filed it away. If you can't find it I will look it up for you.
I had to call my mom & tell her, she was so excited.
