How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

I know it's going to be hot. I have been to WDW twice in July. I told myself I would plan my trips from now on in the cooler months. But, with free dining I'm going for it. So, we will be there the first week of September. I am really looking forward to this trip, because it is just my best friend and I and so we do not have to be "tour guides" on this trip. I love taking family and friends, but I will enjoy this relaxing trip!

We just returned in July. Hot ! Hot ! Too hot ! I was also there in Nov. '05. Much easier in '05 to see all Parks (and enjoy) without soaking 3 shirts a day, like July.

We will be there too at this time, and have done this time of year before. We usually find the mornings are warm/hot dry and sunny and then heavy cloud around lunch time and nearly always some rain in the afternoon, however, it stays warm of course even throughout the downpours!

Re: How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

I've never been to FL in July, but we go just about every September (we've done 3 out of the last 4 trips on the free dining promo). It's definately hot, usually in the 90's and still a bazillion percent humidity! But, it was definately tolerable. Last year I was 8 1/2 months pregnant, so the heat was more uncomfortable than usual, but I still made it through. We've actually faired pretty well with the rain as well. It will rain, but not a washout!

It's still hot....just as hot as July. The weather doesn't start to get more mild (well mild for florida) until October and even that isn't all that mild...I was there on Halloween melting one year..lol

Re: How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

We usually go more toward the middle of Sept, but are going on the first this year. We have found it nice and Hot, but nothing like our over 100 degree weather here in Memphis! The heat index has been over 110 degrees most of the last 2 weeks!

It is hot enough to seek out shade, enjoy getting wet on water rides, and to need to drink lots of water. But I dont think it will dampen the fun! In Animal Kingdom, dont get caught on the sunny side of the street during the parade, though - there is no escaping!

Re: How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

The high is usually around 90 and the low around 72. It is hot. I will be there as well, but I am totally ok with it as long as I know ahead of time that I will be yucky. No make up for me those days and boy are the pictures horrible!!

Re: How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

I guess I really knew the answer to this question. I was just hoping someone would tell me that the first week in Sept was uncharacteristically cool. I know what you mean with sweating in July. Oh, well a hot day in DW is better than a cool day anywhere else!

Re: How does the weather at the begining of Sept compare to 4th of July?

There actually is a difference just not a HUGE difference. If you're not used to the heat it probably will seem the same to you. July is HOOOOOT..in Sept it cools off some during the day but the biggest difference is after sundown. It gets a lot cooler at night in Sept than it does in July. At night in July you'll still melt while nighttime in Sept can be comfortable. I think you'll like Sept. a lot better than July.

Thanks Cinderbella, I can handle cooler evenings. In July it is just hot and humid 24/7!The MK is open till 3 am for emh one nights and studios till 1 am one night, so we plan on staying cool during the day and having some fun at night!

The beginning of September is essentially the same as August. It is HOT!!!! It amy not seem as hot because the crowds should be smaller, school has started. Unless you are going over Labor Day.

Hot, humid, with a 100% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, a possible hurricane and/or tropical storm, oh yeah and really hot.

Well if there is a tropical storm/hurricane the lines will be shorter!

Yes, and most Floridians head right to Disney . . . as they have one of the best hurricane readiness programs! I kid you not!
