I saw an elect a Peanuts character for president ad in my newspaper and thought, "Hey, why don't we do this with Disney characters?"

So, we can start with nominations and then make a poll for elections (except since the characters obviously can't debate for themselves, we'll have elections to decide who is running for each party).

To make this even more fun, we'll have parties....

Princess Party (any Disney Princess.... doesn't have to be an official princess, though.... Tinkerbelle, Mulan, Pocahontas, etc. will count)

Classic Party (any Disney Character from classic Disney films or cartoons)

Independent Party (of course.... any Disney Character that does not fit in above categories, such as those from recent movies, Pixar movies, or attractions at WDW/DL)

So, let the nominations begin!

Hmm. Ariel and Jack Sparrow in charge of the Navy...that could be interesting.

I could never vote for a Princess. I just don't have it in me. And the Classics are swell, but what I'd REALLY like to see is someone who could come in and completely shake things up. Someone who marches to his own drummer.
