2 days to go- touring Cinderella Suite!

The countdown says 2 days and 20 hours! I am super excited this trip because I was lucky enough to score a reservation for September 1st to tour the Cinderella Castle Suite!

I saw it on allears, and quickly followed the link. You needed to plug in your DVC number. It was very limited, so I was only able to get two spots at 1:00 am!! My two sons were unhappy that they can't go, but I'll ask if there are any cancellations once we get there.

Free dining at Chef Mickey's, Boma and LeCellier is just the icing on this cake!!

Cool! Single digit dancin! We're only going for 4 days, but it's going to be a great, fun-filled, jam-packed 4 days.

I actually think I'll bring the SUPER DUPER camera (Nikon SLR) just to take the suite photos- It's a little bigger than my Pentax, but the pics are really amazing.

Oh leslie, that is going to be really special! Can you let us know about a few things -- when you arrive at the Castle, exactly what is the procedure to get up into the suite? Do you go up some ugly back stairs, or is there a fancy elevator? That kind of thing... Also, is there a little lobby outside the door? And can you ask if there are CMs at the Castle all night? And can you roam the park after hours? What if you wake up before the park opens, can you go for a jog up and down Main Street?

Sorry for the imposition, but I have a lot of questions... there are more, and I will post them as I remember them! LOL

I remember reading a really detailed TR on allears... I'll see if I can find it. I recall that winners can't roam the park at night

I don't jog, but I'd be tempted to go for an early morning run, for sure!

I am assuming I can take photos- I'll go recheck the ressie paper.....

...doesn't say anything about photos at all. I know Dream Suite winners post photos, so I'm thinking it's OK.

I am so excited for you. That sounds awesome. I bet its gonna be cool being in the MK at 1 am. You will probably get to see what happens behind the scenes to make the place look so fresh and magical!

I wonder, since they are doing the tours for DVC members, if they stopped giving away dreams to stay in the castle?

HOW AWESOME!!!!!!! You are extremely lucky!!! Even though it will be 1am...but how cool will that be to be in MK at that hour, with NO ONE there??????? SOOOO COOL!!!!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it! Congrats!
