Make sure to ask before you try to redeem:

The software that runs both cards is the same so if one is ok, the other should be also! I know this is the case at Raglan Road which is not Disney owned.

Thanks so much.I will have to print this list. I have never used my points while at WDW. We normally use them for the tickets.

I love these points. Last November we gave that card to the boys as spending money. I think we had around 300 points. It was perfect.

Lisa, I am going to add your comment to the list. Maybe we should make it a sticky

I love the Rewards cards, we used ours in August to pay for our DDP tips.

Parking

We stayed off property last visit in 2006 and used our Rewards Card for the parking Fee each day. We used it for everything on property, photo purchase off the Buzz LightYear ride, I purchased our PhotoPass CD on property our last day with it, all our meals, snacks gifts. It is a great thing!

Re: Redeeming Disney Reward Card Points

Dopey, thanks for the list! I'm wondering, though, does that mean if you convert your points to a Disney gift card, you can only redeem at those places?

yes, that's basically what it means.
When you go online to view your statement or pay your bill, there's a link to you rewards. There you can transfer your points to a card that will then be sent to you by mail. It's like a credit card. You can then use that card at any of the above locations.

Re: Redeeming Disney Reward Card Points

I just ordered my Reward Card this week for our next trip.
FYI it states that it takes 7 buisness days to ship for free or 2 business days for $10 express mail fee. So don't wait until the last minute to order. One more note, the cards have an expiration date (like a regular CC), but once you move points to that card, they expire when the card does.

PS-Welcome to MB mmmagic!!!

Re: Redeeming Disney Reward Card Points

Great information. My points are starting to accumulate and will make great spending when we finally manage a trip to Disney. Glad to know that you have to spend them by a certain time. I wonder if that would be ok in MA where you can't have expirations on gift cards...etc.
