I have not had a trip since I've joined MB. But i feel my expectations have changed. I am looking at the next trip like #5 of who knows how many. This way I can enjoy my trip and actually leave knowing I will be back again. I guess I feel I have found my Disney fix by reading trip reports or get ideas for my next trip report. I also have some solace that my love for all things Disney is not crazy or stupid. My family outside of my DH & DKs get it, they have the same love. But after that my inlaws or my mom and sisters think it is stupid and a waste of money. So my expectations have changed, more of relaxed. Expect the unexpected. Remember cms are human and they don't have control of everything and I have learned some valuable tips.

We are making our third trip this year to Disney Dec 4th. Since I've joined MB I have gained a wealth of information from all you experts. I read MB every day and each time I learn something new. All of you are so amazing.

Thanks. I love this site. I hope to gain just a small percentage of the knowledge all of you have. We've been to Disney many times, but there's so much we haven't done and thanks to this site we're learning new things to see and do. I've had so many "I didn't know that" moments from things I've read here.

I think I joined MB after our first few trips to WDW- however, when I look back now we were so under informed and probably missed out on quite alot.

Joining MB has meant we have learned a great deal from other members, and are able to ask most Disney related things and almost certainly get an answer.

On a slightly diverse note, I too have learnt alot about American traditions and custom, and holidays too- which has been very educational and enlightening.

But going back to the orignal thread by DT, yes our 'trip of a lifetime' became a regular occurence, and now I cant imagine not fitting in a Disney trip somewhere in every year.

I would like to be adopted by the Ward family. You'll need a third person with you once your DD won't be coming along anymore. I could fill that spot

I joined MB after a few trips to WDW, we still treat each one as a 'once in a lifetime' because we can enver be sure if we'll get back anytime soon and any trip could be our last. Since coming here though I do feel like I get alot more out of trips through all the hints and tips and advice we pick up here! Very helpful!!
