Have your expectations changed...

since you joined Mouseuzz?

We went to WDW several times before I found MouseBuzz and those trips were "once in a lifetime" trips. We didn't expect to return for years so we tried to cram as much as possible in during those trips. After I joined MB we started going every year and I have almost come to expect trips that used to be once in a lifetime trips far more often.

Anyone else?

I have to find some balance in things now that I am here so much. I have always been obsessed with Disney even from the time I was small but being here and being spoon fed it daily sometimes makes it hard for me- certainly now that things are so hard and tight around here. We used to plan and do as if it were once in a lifetime because we had been through enough tough times to know better that it may be years before we get to return. I dont expect to go every year now but it does make it harder seeing everyone post trip reports and reservations and such- I do find it harder though to stay away and so there is that balance. I think that in the end if Im having a good day Ill post on other threads but if its been a long day then I post on chit chat instead- it keeps me in the loop without feeling left out- KWIM?

We are definitely in that category. Being on any Disney forum stokes the fires, that is for sure.
It also "helps" to create more expectations by visitors from Disney. This is why we see so many complaints about not getting things others got on their trips. And in turn that will create higher prices. If they have to hire people to give the guests what they think is a given, the prices will surely increase

A little bit. I'd been with my parents numerous times but Dave and I took our first trip together and we were hooked. I came here to plan our next trip and we've been back sooo many times since then. I think that our trips have gotten better since I joined here. Our first trip we made no ADRs and ate cheeseburgers at every meal.

The frequency of our trips has definitely increased because of MB - so has the quality.

Same with us. We go more often and our trips are much better because of the information I've learned here.

Exactly! Unfortunatly our trips have decreased lately. But we have to be smart about our budget and only go when we can afford to.

Before MB I went to WDW 2 times. After I joined MB I have been 6 or 7 so yea, I think MB lights my Disney fire. Heck,If if wasnt for MB I dont think I would have purchased DVC. I do expect to go every year sometimes 3 times in a year if Im able.

I have been able to identify the vacation we REALLY want, and now I can easily make it happen for everyone. I know how often DH needs to be on teh golf course during a weeklong vacation, how much we love the unusual stuff (like bass fishing on Bay Lake), how to focus on the attractions that teens enjoy and how to give them free time away from us...

Because of MB, we were able to get enough of those commando vacations done and out of the way, so we can tailor the week to suit us perfectly now in our "old" age...

Well now, look at it this way. When Mike and I were in our mid twenties, we were only able to fly between two continents to get away from it all. It meant visiting family either here on in Europe. We didn't go on honest to goodness vacations until we were in our mid 30's.

You'll get financially stable and comfortable and things will settle. Then you can plan and maybe afford your trips more often.
I am just wondering if all that frequent Disney tripping isn't going to get "old" a little after a while.

Please also remember, you don't think Keith would have started a Disney forum just to get a forum started. This was bound to spill over into his business. Pretty smart move.
I am thinking I should start an "Michigan Up North" forum. Maybe that would bring more business in the shoulder seasons.

The frequency of our trips haven't changed, but thanks to MB and the tr's the substance has.

Our frequency changed when we moved to FL! Last year we were going every other month . . . this year with the economy being what it is, even with my passes, I've cut back . . . we only have a trip planned for Oct and Dec . . . and the last time we were there was May!

MB has helped us find all the "hidden gems" of the parks . . . the little things that the everyday folks don't know about! And I

that about all of you!

Also, looking at everyone's TRs helps to pass the time between trips . . . reading dining reviews etc.
