Okay, I am weird...but I am a BIG ghost hunting fan!! BIG, Huge!!

How do the rest of you feel about ghosts, ghost hunting or does any know any of the stories that there is ghosts at WDW???

In the spirit of Halloween thought I would ask!

Hey,

We visited Disney World in September 2006. During this week, there was an elderly cast member who died from a fall on the rollercoaster in dinoland.

It was bazaar being in the park the day of the accident and then, at a later date, reading how this woman died from the fall!!! We have been told that several people have seen her ghost on the anniversary of her death.

Do a Google search. I forget the exact date, but it was between September 10 and 16, 2008.

There is a story about a ghost in the POTC ride . . . Rowdy posted the details once . . . maybe he can retell or I can find it on the net?!?!

ME too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just watching ghost hunters and I swear I wanna go to Savannah GA right now and go ghost hunting!!! I dont know any Disney ghost stories but would love to hear one

I googled and here is what I got!!

The happiest place on earth actually does have a few resident Ghost's, here are some of the reported sightings :

Orlando - Disney World - Pirates of the Caribbean - The spirit of "George" a worker who died there when a beam fell on him during construction still haunts the attraction. At the beginning of the day and at the end of the day attractions workers must come on the PA system and tell George good morning and good night. If not the attraction has been know to shut itself down adding more work before the workers came go home for the night. - March 2004 Addition/ correction - when the ride was being built in the early 70's (it opened Dec. 15, 1973) , George was a welder who clearly, welded different parts of the scenes on the attraction together. One particular area on the ride, called the "burning city", required George to climb up quite high above the ground. George lost his balance, and fell to his death. If you talk to any of the employees at pirates, they will either know of someone who has had an incident with George, or there is a chance they have had one themselves.

Orlando - Disney World - There is known to be a tan figure walking down the streets in front of the castle.

Orlando - Walt Disney World - EPCOT - Spaceship earth - a small girl with long blonde hair has been seen riding in a car & a boy run in front of her and vanish at the same location (outside during the day).

Orlando - Walt Disney World - Tower of Terror - There has been a story among employees of a ghost walking around the "Tower of Terror" at off hours; he's usually found walking the wrong way, does not respond to calls and then disappears.

OMG!!! IM watching ghost hunters too! I love that show. I hate watching by myself because I get scared to death!! Did you just see the ghost in the lighthouse?
I just called my sister to see if she wanted to fly/drive to Savannah on Halloween weekend to do some ghost tours~ She said no

I wish we could meet you in Savannah, we did the ghost tour Spring Break of 07 and it was pretty cool...didn't scare me as much as I thought it would, but it was still very interesting! The lighthouses in the area are cool too.

I would go in a New York minute if I could. I am looking at making a job changes so won't have the time to take....but I would go.

Villisca Ia. It is very haunted and has been on many national shows. One of the TAPS family is based in Des Moines and they have spent the night there.

I have co workers who are involved in a local ghost haunting group they have been there also. I hope with the job change I will be to join them more.

Im going back and forth now watching Ghost hunters.. I cant wait to see what they come up with in that house

I've been on the "ghost haunt" walks in Savannah..man are they CREEPY! I grew up not far from there and a bunch of us went on Halloween night my senior year. I didn't see any ghost or anything but the stories and legend of historic Savannah are insane.

And I've heard to George story a few times before..but then I've also heard it's a big old myth.
