refurbishments?
Ok, I just read, on the official Disney site, that these rides will not be open while we're visiting
Mickey's PhilharMagic : Closed for Refurbishment [January 18, 2009 to January 31, 2009] Splash Mountain®: Closed for Refurbishment [January 4, 2009 to January 17, 2009] The Hall Of Presidents: Closed for Refurbishment [January 1, 2009 to January 31, 2009] Is it ever possible that those times could be shorter than they say in their schedule? I don't want to miss Philharmagic or the Hall of Presidents

HOP is probably down so they can get the new president animotronic in place. I assume they may open earlier if they were finished. But..I do doubt that they would debut it before the inauguration on the 22nd. And Splash always seems to go down around that time of year.
I remember when we went in Feb of 06 Buzz Lightyear was down and we were bummed out! And it was supposed to be down for about 10 tens after we left. But! Much to our surprise it was open and running like normal by the last day of our trip. So you never know!
