I contacted my AAA travel agent the other day to get a quote for June's "Quick Trip", and the quote she gave me was $1300!! I was floored! Here's the statistics:

Arrive June 6, depart June 8; value resort (preferably POP), 3 day hoppers and the basic DDP for 2 adults and a 12 y/o! Our last trip (this year) was for 6 nights and only cost $1900 and we had waterparks too. I realize we are staying on a weekend and it is summer, but I am amazed at the cost.

So all that being said: does anyone know if there has historically been any type of discounts offered during this time period? Generally how far before the travel dates do discounts become available? HELP!!

I'm not sure but as a member of DVC our points book shows that June is a busy time of year to go so it cost us more points than other times of years. Also for DVC members the weekends are also more points to use during a busy time of year. I think that it is just the time of year that you want to go. Hope this helps put things in perspective.

I think $1300 for 3 days is a little high for a value. Try calling Disney directly. Maybe they are cheaper.
