This just came in an email, and it looks so great, especially considering that it's tough to get to WDW this year to celebrate for a lot of people! Eveyone enter, so the winner can be an MB member!:

As a Mickey Moms Club member, you may have an opportunity to do just that—bring the enchantment of Disney right into your living room with a Walt Disney World "What Will You Celebrate?" In-Home Celebration.

What is an In-Home Celebration? With the celebration kit we provide, you can accommodate up to (10) parents and (10) children at your house for a Walt Disney World® Resort-themed party. We'll make it easy and entertaining by providing online planning tools and a fantastic party package that will help bring your party to life. Included in this celebration kit:

• Disney-themed activities, recipes and décor
• Giveaways for parents and kids
• And a special gift for the host—YOU!


You'll have the tools you need to throw a Walt Disney World® Resort celebration in your own home, from easy-to-make recipes to Resort-themed games and activities that parents and kids will love. Invite other parents and their kids to join in the magic and let the celebration begin!

You may submit a request to be a host between March 2, 2009, and March 6, 2009, by answering three essay questions. Each registered Mickey Moms Club member may submit essay answers only once. We will review the essays and select up to 1,000 Mickey Moms Club members to receive the In-Home Celebration kit. To submit your request, log in to the Mickey Moms Club website and then click on the "Submit Your Essay Now" link from the home page.

You will be notified by email on or around March 9, 2009, if you have been selected. If you are selected, we ask that all In-Home Celebrations be hosted between March 16-April 5, 2009. You will be invited to participate in a voluntary online survey after your party.

It says this in the letter: "Each registered Mickey Moms Club member may submit essay answers only once."

As long as you are registered you can enter!

I entered and won a party box and had my party on Saturday night.

When the guests arrived, we put nametags on their backs with the names of classic Disney characters----they had to ask other guests yes or no questions to figure out who they were.

I also made Disney nametags for everyone(kind of silly because we all knew each other, but I liked them!)

We had Disney Mac n Cheese, Mickey Cheese shapes and Pepperoni circlres placed like Mickey heads, Disney Granola Bars and Fruit Snacks, And I used my waffle iron to make disney character cakes which we dipped in whipped cream frosting.

We played Disney Bingo for quite a while (I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of prizes for the winners).

And everyone got their cool Disney goody bags to take home at the end of the night.

It was an Awesome party----here are some pictures!!

Looks like you had a lot of fun!!!! Seems like SO MANY PEOPLE won those boxes on DIS! I am wondering...did anyone else here enter? And what was the purpose of all of this, to give out WDW information packets??
