Let's See those old family Disney photos
I thought the thread of when did it start for you?, was great! and I then thought how cool it would be to see any and all photos from everyone who has them from those days gone by. I knew my parents had slides from our 1974 trip so I went to their house and began transfering them to a digit format to show them here. Wow! What a difference from the 70's to today. The slides have really started to show thier age so I will only show the better ones. I sure wish they would have had digital cameras back then! LOL
    Notice the raccoon skin cap I was wearing! LOL

   The last photo shows a band which came up from under the floor and began to play. I am not sure where this was in Magic Kingdom but my mother thought it was coolest thing! LOL

This is just a guess but, it looks like the band that came up from under the stage was in Tomorrowland at what is now the Starlight Cafe. Where Sonny Eclipse is now:)

Love the photos! Thanks for sharing.
My dad and his family went to WDW when it opened in 1971... only he has no pictures.  They didn't have the most money... they stayed in a pop-up camper in his sister's back yard.  My first trip was in 1992... I don't have any photos on my computer. I'm sure they took some, though. It was a big event!

I have some cool old photos but I have to do it when I get a chance to use the desktop computer with the scanner. Most of mine are from the early-mid 80's but they are pretty cool. I even have a picture of me flying off one of the water slides at 'River Country.'
