Anyone got married at Disney
Just wondering has anyone got married at Disney --- My wife as she is now and i got married at the Disney beach house at Hilton Head SC.
We had a lovely time there :love: LOL jj......  |

I have always wondered what it would be like to get married on Disney property.... can anyone take the time to describe the moment? I am only 14 but hey, who are you to criticize me for being prepared?????!!!!!!!

Hi!
Dh and I were married at the Wilderness Lodge almost 4 years ago. We planned an Intimate Wedding. Very simple. Our parents and grandparents joined us, as we were married at 9 am on the balcony of the WL. It was lovely. Disney provided a minister and a violinist, who played "Once Upon a Dream" at my request. After the ceremony, we had a small reception complete with wedding cake (topped by Mickey and Minnie) and champagne. We decided to go all-out and hire a photographer. It was definately worth the additional expense...the pictures are priceless! He took pictures of the ceremony, family pictures, and (best of all) Dh and I outside next to the waterfall. I had someone come to my room to "do" my hair before the ceremony. And, they made the most beautiful bouqet for me...a dozen white roses, wrapped with satin ribbon. It was beautiful!

My DH and I were married at the Poly sunset pointe last June. It was so beautiful. We also went with the intimate wedding. We used Disney for everything:flowers,pictures,my hair and makeup.
It was the best day of my life and Disney made our day so much more special. My DH even shocked me because I wanted to have characters at our wedding when we were planning everything, however my DH was so against it. Then I had the BIGGEST surprise. Right after the wedding Mickey and Minnie showed up and I honestly thought that they had made a mistake until I looked at my DH face and new what he had done. It was wonderful. He was more shocked at himself that he had kept it a secret for so long. :bandit :)
