The photo pass web site also states that if a promo code has been used that they will not grant a refund if you are unhappy with your photo pass photos so then you are stuck with the C.D.

I bought the preorder CD but I did not see anywhere that I needed to use it by a certain day, I saw that I had to purchase by 6/15 in order to get the 15% off but nothing that said you have to add your pictures by a certain date. I have emailed them and will let you guys know what they say!

No worries!!!! I recieved an email back and they said I would be fine! So go ahead and buy yours now, save the extra 15%!


By the way... a friend of mine ordered hers as well and she is not a disney visa card holder. She used the promo code, but paid by her own credit card (not a Disney Visa)! So I guess you can take advantage of the promo even if you don't have a Disney Visa!

That's confusing to me because you're not using the promo code in Oct., you're actually purchasing and using the code NOW. Once you have your confirmation e-mail with your purchase code, it doesn't matter when you use it. You won't be paying anything in Oct. b/c it's already paid for.

I called this morning to get a definitive answer on how long the purchase code will be good...and guess what...CM says it's not available to DVC members staying on points.

What does it matter where you are staying? If you decided to stay off site, it shouldn't matter at all! The discount code was for a Disney VIsa Card Holder, nothing to do with DVC? just curious, but why did you call DVC and speak to a CM, rather than the Photopass people?

By the way, my email came from the same guy (mike) I think he needs to seek out help with this question, I will call photpass myself and let you all kow what I find out!

Ok, so I called and I spoke with a Consuela, she said that what happens is that once you order they send you a confirmation of your order and then they send you another email that has a "promo code" as they call it that will let you access your order and upload your park pictures. That code is only good for 90 days, so although Mike said "I was fine", he is incorrect! I will not be able to access my code, Mike told me in the original email that he would be able to reset my code, and I did not understand what that meant, but he just replied saying "I was fine." Consuela said that she could not rest my code so I could get a refund.

As for the DVC points issue, she said that this code is mailed to anyone who has "allowed" emails from Disney regarding their upcoming stay. IMO it is all just tooooooo much conflicting information! There is nothing (that I found) stating that when you purchase the photopass you only have 90 days to upload and order from it! The code was a Disney Visa code, had nothing to do with Disney Destinations either! Long story short... don't order the photopass more than 90 days in advance! Thanks for all of the feedback on this, it saved me from being taken for $85!

I did call the photopass people and that's who told me it wasn't available to DVC members. I'm just going to forget about it for now. Too much conflicting information out there.
