Re: Weather in Sept?

One of our favorite trips was in September, it was hot, but I know it was not humid at all, compared to our trips in August. I would love to go in Sept. again, we had the best weather! Capris and shorts will be fine. :)

Re: Weather in Sept?

September is nice. It is hot and it can get humid but it's not as bad as summertime. Just don't expect New Jersey fall weather when you are down there. We live in the south so we're used to it but when we went in early October it was still very hot and had a few days where it was humid.

That should leave JUST enough space for personal items like trial size toiletries, cosmetics, hairbrush, etc. in a medium sized cosmetic bag.

Then in my purse I'd have my camera, magazines, & anything else small that wouldn't be in the larger carry-on.

I do this nearly every trip & it works like a charm for me.
That a real good idea! Thanks for the advise. I think this is what I'm going to do

Don't forget, every CS restaurant offers free ice water from their fountain. We always take advantage of this.

Re: Weather in Sept?

We've gone in Sept. for the past 5 years. Hot and humid usually in the high 70's and 80's. I've never needed a jacket. I don't think you will need long pants. That being said, it can't hurt to bring one pair.

I know right! The ice is usually good but the water is gross.

That's a great idea. I don't like to drink soda in the heat so this is a great tip for good water. Thanks!

Re: Weather in Sept?

Definitely humid- but it's FL (we're used to it in VA) but we've been very pleased with the weather the past 2 years- mid to upper 80's - usually a brief shower in the afternoon but never a total washout- we never needed a jacket or long pants- shorts & capris for sure- just don't forget the ponchos (Walmart- $0.87!) There's no way I could stand it in June, July or August, though ~ wellllll, maybe if it were free!

My friend went and gave me about 10 ponchos from WDW. I guess she forgot to take and when it rained she just purchased new every day.

Re: Weather in Sept?

I had forgot about the rain in Sept. ... but don't worry, it last only minutes and then it's back to humid. At Epcot I stood beside the fountain in the GAA and watched it rain 4 feet from me .... Lucky for me my FROSTY BEVERAGE was not harmed !!!!! Whew.... close call

Re: Weather in Sept?

Last Sept, we had gone over to Ohana's about an hour before opening for dinner. We didn't have a ressie so we thought if we got a walk up fine, even if we have to wait an hour or so. So a couple of chairs were set up by a window and we grabbed them. Sitting comfy, just passing time. And then it started to rain and rain and rain. The water was ponding on the sidewalks. It rained all during dinner . And rained and rained. Our plan was to take the monorail to Epcot and walk thru to get to BCV. But we didn't want to walk thru pouring rain. So we decided we would take the monorail round to MK. If it was still raining, we'd get off and take the bus back to BCV. If not, we'd go to TTC and go on to Epcot. Well it was still raining, so we took the bus. Of course when we got off at BCV, the rain stopped.

Re: Weather in Sept?

Yup, it gets hot and humid in September, but at least it is at Disney! I think I usually take a sweatshirt, but I don't think I have taken pants in September. Just drink plenty of water and you will be fine! Have a great trip!!
