Re: People-watching

Love to people watch at WDW....the outrageous clothes, especially the wrong ones for the weather of the day......but, what really gets me is the SHOES. Granted, I have an issue with one of my ankles, but I literally hurt looking at some of the footwear I see. Heels! What are they thinking?! (and yes, the revealing clothes are just wrong!)

Re: People-watching

I wasn't able to get on here yesterday b/c my daughter was sick...but oh my, the HILARIOUS comments!!

Quote:
We love to people watch. But, WOW!!!! I almost feel like someone should tell her about that skirt, maybe she has no idea!!
That was my initial thinking, too! But after standing in line for Peter Pan behind her (behind) for 20 minutes, it became really apparent that she knew how she looked, and dressed that way on purpose. Sans panties, mind you!!! The skirt looked like it was a size 6X and meant to be worn by a small child.

Quote:
I did see a woman at Target the other day wearing a mens "wife beater" (that's what we call them in SC they could have other names..basically the white ribbed tank top undershirt thing for men) and NOTHING else. She was wearing it as a dress.
That's what I call classy! More like klassy with a "k," if you know what I mean. Her poor children!! Oh, and we call 'em wife beaters in FL, too. :)

Quote:
Love to people watch. It's a great way to spend some time, drink in hand, just wondering if people actually look in mirrors before they go out; or if their mothers know what they're wearing. I wouldn't want to be the woman in the OP's pictures; you have to sit on all those dirty seats...of course, someone has to sit after she leaves. Ugh!
I couldn't agree more! Think of those plasticky (not a word) seats on rides like POTC and IASW...I feel like I should spray them with Lysol now before sitting.

Quote:
Giving new meaning to "Showing her butt off" , or as I always like to remark "I've never seen that side of you before"

"WHO ORDERED THE COTTAGE CHEESE???"
I think I may laugh at this for eternity.

Re: People-watching

People watching at WDW??? Isn't that one of the reasons we go? Do people leave their common sense at home when they go on vacash? I really wish I had the nerve to approach some of the outlandish, inappropriate, and offensive (fanny-hanging-out-the-back-door-offensive) folks and ask, "Are you kiddin' with that?" Let's start a website that we can all contribute to: www.whataretheywearingatdisneytoday.com.

I'm a people watcher without a doubt..and I have seen some funny things..that one..really takes the cake. I love that you documented it on film! Haha!
Thanks! I love when I'm able to get them on film...it's so much better than trying to explain what you saw to someone who wasn't there. Here are a few more examples...these are from the Florida Strawberry Festival that was in March. We saw some real klassy kuties there....along with a Lionel Richie lookalike, but I wasn't able to snap a shot of him without being too obvious about it.

Notice the bikini kutie in the background to the left.

http://www.mousebuzz.com/forum/attac...1&d=1245332699

That's my boy! I didn't even bother with pretending we were taking a picture of ourselves this time. This was just too blatant.

I love this idea! I think we should totally at least keep each other informed about these things through MouseBuzz. It's too great not to share with others.

Oh No Oh No Oh NO!!! First let me compose myself.... okay all better
You know the "Mom" factor is probably the most difficult part of people watching~ both as a mom trying to sheild my kids (& more importantly their eyes) from the horrible, sometimes CRAZY INAPPROPRIATE clothes, & as someone wondering how other Moms can walk around IN PUBLIC with their families in some of those getups! I mean, how does a person look in the mirror before heading out in some of these clothes & say to oneself "Darn, I LOOK GOOD!!!"??

Re: People-watching

OMG someone pleezz notify the fashion police. There's definitely too much junk in her trunk to consider packing that one, uugghh!

When I first read about the twig/berries it reminded me of being on the "other" end of Bourbon St after midnight. Funny stuff now, esp all the drag/impersonators. A lot of that there + that's also what came to mind with the "Sausage Fest". Only way I could see that being a fam reunion would be similar to the groups visiting WDW the first week of June. Too funny.

Maybe The Learning Channel should include episodes of their "What Not To Wear" at Disneyworld.

I am just in shock...how could she not feel the breeze goin' on down there??

I love people-watching. I have to say though, I have never caught something quite like this on camera! I probably would have been too disturbed to even think about capturing it on film!! LOL

I know exactly what you mean! If you aren't a local, and keep walking too far down Bourbon, you will definitely see some interesting sites you've never seen before!
