We did it!

We ended up right at $400. I'm actually planning to take the rest of our name brand clothes to a resale store here that only buys name brand and see if they're interested.

My progress today has been adding DD and me to my Dad's reservation! I'm officially staying with them for an additional 6 nights and it's paid in full!

I still have so much to do and 15 days to do it in. Thankfully, our weather is cooling off significantly already so I can get all our summer clothes clean and start packing them. Alright, off to look at my To Do list and see what else I can get done today.

2 weeks from today!!

To do list got knocked down a bit yesterday! I loaded my iPod with all my Disney music, washed the fabric stroller seat (we bought a used one that is really lightweight but still full-sized and comfy so wedon't have to take our nice one thatis so heavy), and got a rain cover for the stroller. I also got a better fitting Aurora costume for DD so I don't have to try to sew her other one at all.

Yay! Sounds like you'll be ready ahead of time at this rate!

Buying another costume was a good idea, I think. She can always wear the bigger one later when she's grown into it.

It's the packing that will take me forever! I'll have to have DD in the sling to get it done since she's so mobile and then I get slowed down a bit with carrying the extra 17 lbs around!

I'll just return the other costume. They're actually the same costume by the same maker but 2 different versions. The one she'll wear is more adjustable in the areas that were causing it to fall off.

If it makes you feel any better Lexi is around 22-23 pounds and a month or so younger than your DD.. It kills the back at times does it?
