Toon Disney

Great news....I just wanted to share!!!

Today our cable provider just reoganized the channels and added a few more channels. We now have Toon Disney. I have been wanting this since I first saw this channel at WDW in 2000.
Now we have the Disney Channel and Toon Disney.

Life is great!!!!:D :)

I just checked out Toon Disney's web site. They have a lot of cartoons that I've never even heard of. This is gonna be fun!!!

I think I'm gonna block out Cartoon Network and Nickalodeon from their tvs!!!

I could get rid of Cartoon Network oh so fast! I can't stand most of those cartoons. I know I am setting myself up to get flamed here, but I HATE DEXTER, POWDERPUFF GIRLS and JOHNNY BRAVO!

GO ahead.............flame away! :devil

We don't have cable but my parents have DirecTV and when we go over there for dinner (usually 1-3 times/week) my DD want eat dinner she wants to watch Toon Disney. Usually the House of Mouse is on and she loves it!! We are thinking of getting DirecTV too but we wish we could only sign up for Disney related channels, travel channel, and food network. Who needs the rest of it? ALL DISNEY ALL THE TIME!!

We have Dish Network, but it seems like mostly we watch one of our THREE Disney channels, the Travel Channel (when they have Disney stuff on) or history stuff. I've found if you're going to watch TV at all, you have to have cable or dish or something 'cause there's NOTHING but junk on regular TV. Doew anyone watch Boomerang? It's got some great oldies on it, like Magilla Gorilla, Underdog, Rocky & Bullwinkle, etc. That station is really a walk down memory lane for me.

Oh, rlander, we were introduced to The Disney Channel by our cable network two years ago. Let me just say it was a magical day in our house!:) We were excited.

I would like to chime in regarding the Cartoon Network. YUCKY! Yep, that's it...YUCKY. I don't let my children watch it. We have a lot of videos and Disney Channel, Nick Jr. and PBS is more than enough TV.:D

I am so JEALOUS that you get Toon Disney!!! The only channel I *ever* watch is the Disney Channel, which is sometimes a shame because I miss cartoons. But Cartoon Network is truly disgusting...and so is pretty much everything else on TV.
Do they still show anything like Rescue Rangers or Tale Spin on Toon Disney? Even occasionally? :) My favorite 'toons from childhood.

OH, and DisneyAnne won't be getting any flames from me! I agree completely--my little sister watches Cartoon Network, and it drives me insane. Those cartoons are AWFUL!

We have had Toon Disney for several years. They don't show as many of the old Disney cartoons as they used to. I love it but sometimes have a hard time getting DGD to watch. She loves Spongebob....there are some weird cartoons on. I don't let her watch some of them...Like Cat-Dog...yuk!:hmmm

That's it. We DEFINITELY need to get Toon Disney in my house!!!!!! :D I miss those cartoons so much, and I'd rather see my sister watch those than the other junk she watches. We gotta get the Disney Magic going again! :)

Ch-ch-ch-chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers!

I am with you, DisneyAnne! We have pretty much cut our DS off from Cartoon Network - Dexter kind of scares me! :p There are cartoons on there that I can't believe are actually aimed at children. Thank goodness for Toon Disney!!!!!!!! :)

Girl....I'm with you!! That Johnny Bravo has go to GO! and what about Ed, Edd, and Eddie??? Ewwwwww??? And don't even get me going on Courage the Cowardly dog.....(where do people come up with this *junk*?? The ONLY 2 shows I like for my kids on CN is Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry.

I would be so happy if my local cable company would change our Cartoon Network for Boomerang. We purchase the platnium package JUST for the Toon Disney.
