I voted for the 13th-16th. I can come up any weekend to visit at a meet/dinner, but I can only be there for a Friday, Saturday and come home Sunday.

The dates of 13th-16th, I could do all 4 days, because I get the 16th off.

LOL! My mother had my brother convinced for years that she was 29. He would argue with kids at school and relatives and even my father. In hindsight, it is hysterical! So, I am keeping up with the tradition! I have been 29 for a few years now. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

We can also make plans to go at any time. I would prefer to stay at the CB, as well. My sister stayed there in May and loved it!

I voted for feb. 20th-23th becuase feb. 21st is my birthday and for the past 3 years I've been going to Disney World for my B-day. So It would be great to keep that tradition alive! lol. Me and my mom (SillyMe here at DC) could probably drive up for a short weekend trip and meet you guys!

Would really like to go but we are already going this year (Sept yeah!).

I suggest that whatever date you pick do it on that date every year. I bet you'll see more and more people coming as they adjust their schedule. Also it looks like another meet and greet could be held 6 months later for some of the other that would like to come.

Sorry I can't go this year...ya'll have fun!

I have received several PMs regarding this Meet & Greet and the timing of it. :cry:

Folks, this is the first time we are trying this. If it works out, we will try to work it out time-wise differently in the future. I really am sorry that we can't work it to fit everyone's family vacation time. We would love to get 100% of DC there if we could.

I have spoken to a couple of people who are not making this their big family vacation but rather they and their spouse may make it a getaway since its only a weekend. :heart

I hope everyone understands that this has been a formative thing beginning with an initial poll including each month and then narrowed to a few months and then to this point. With it being the first one, it was important to get the most possible people together at one time.

I sincerely hope everyone understands what we are looking at. I really want to make this a success so we can plan another in the future.

I certainly don't want to upset any DCer. What we have going in our little corner of the net is a wonderful thing. :love:
