Gigi, too funny - I've been back and forth through the site looking for links. I feel like I'm possessed. Have you seen CKSgranny's pages? (I think it was her) that made a great Animal Kingdom spread I'd like to emulate.

Nice site... that oughta keep me busy for a few ... minutes!! :D

Two Peas in a Bucket

I only do the 8 1/2 x 11 pages...I would love to do the 12x12 pages...but I admit it...i'm scared to try it...LOL:laugh plus i have so many things for the 8 1/2 x11 pages!

I do the same size you do - it's wicked easy for me to whip something out on my computer for a background. Talk about lazy. LOL! My AKL one though, is going to be 12x12 for a change.

That's a cute site! I found another one while roaming last night, you've got to check it out - there's a message board all about scrappin' too, with instructions on each layout:

I love that site! Lots of great ideas!! I have a lot of those stickers that they are using!! LOL Just makes me want to take the day (ok well days) off of work, and hurry up and scrap!!:laugh I have so many to do!!

What about papers. I always just get my papers from Michaels, our craft store. Any good ideas of where else to get some different papers?

**OH, and I have to say, I just bought the Mickey running side view Punch and the small mickey head punch at Micheals last weekend!! Pretty cool...I used it as confetti for my DS disney bday party pages!**

I get them from Michaels, Joann's, Creative Memories, Disney, and I make my own. I use Epson inks and epson papers, which are archival quality. I'm dying to get an edge-to-edge printer so I can do full bleeds, but that's going to have to wait.

The other thing I did during our past two trips was to take pics of cool objects from around Disney, to use solely for scrapbooking. There's some fantastic paintings around the animal Kingdom Lodge that I thought would look great, and I love them. I've got some close ups of the Christmas Trees from December, too. They also make great computer desktops. I'm having fun with them!

I went to a *small* scrapbooking store yesterday! It's a good thing i don't do 12x12 pages yet! They didn't have but a few choices of the 8 1/2 x11 pages. But they sure did have a lot of beautiful pages, embelishments, and eyelets (don't know how the heck to work those!!) I just might have to give the 12x12 pages a try after I finish my 4th of July disney pictures!! (I'm kinda scared to try it though, but you can do so much more with them! LOL) They have classes, so i'm thinking of going to one, just for the heck of it! Haha:laugh

I am addicted to the punches now!! I love them!! In our DC chat on Wednesday this site was brought up...and guess what they have??? punches! LOL

Check out this site!

I use the computer for fonts and other pictures of characters and stuff. But I haven't tried to make my own designs on the page, print it out and then add my pictures. I may just have to try that!

My DW bought a 12x12 book at WDW. Last year she did 8.5x11. She bought it and the filler sheets at the store in DTD. Since she ran out of plastic pages, we had to look all over them.

MickeyMac, Sorry - it wasn't me that did the AK layout but I'd sure like to see it. I did post a paper piecing of Eeyore though.

Scrapjazz is my FAVORITE website for layout ideas.

Here's some wording I did for one of the pages I'll be doing. The little Mickey punches are attached with little jewelry o rings.

I'm with ya now!! LOL on Friday night I went to Michaels and bought my first 12x12 scrapbook, and some pages. I never did my ds baby/hospital pictures(been to afraid too!) so I bought TONS of baby boy embelshiments. (Don't even *dare* ask how much i spent...i'm having stomach pains just thinking of it!) I just got home from my mom's, where all my son's baby stuff was stored in her attic. It's so fun looking at some of his baby clothes and stuff. So i guess I'm ready to scrap 12x12. Only how the heck do I start the album??? LOL

Yeah! You did it! It was painless, huh? (well, 'cept for the money part...)

Do you have a concept in mind? I was going to do a timeline for each of my kids, then saw someone take pages from 'When we were young" from Milne and did a themed book using quotes from it. It's lovely.

Wow,that sounds really nice. I think before i start, i'm going to have to look through the two sites above and see what other people have done. I was going to start w/a picture of me pregnant, and my baby shower, but decided against that.

Most of the baby pictures I have were from the hospital, he was there for a month, so they are all in the same room/same decorations. So i've got to use my imagination!!:dazed LOL I have a couple ultrasound pictures and his wrist bands i want to put in there too. I just need that *one* idea to get me started...everything is sitting at my table, waiting for me...LOL:laugh

I also want to use eyelets and stuff, but haven't ventured into that yet...

What about doing an ABC theme?

Eyelets sounds really neat, but I don't know if I want to invest in yet more equipment... you'll have to tell me how you like it. the look would definately go well with our AKL theme.
