There are machines throughout WDW that will press pennies and imprint a different Disney image on each penny (each macine does a different image). The book is to collect all the different pressed pennies.

The EPCOT Passport can be purchase in most stores in ECPOT, and as you visit each country in the World Showcase, they will stamp the possport with a stamp that is unique to each country.

Thanks Mickey. My kids have some of the pennies already. We will get the book. What a great idea! Also, I think my kids would love the passport thing.

The passports are a good idea but I think they were around $15.00 each. Another fun thing for kids in EPCOT is that they can make a mask and go to each land and get it stamped and have a country specific item attached to it.

if your kids have autograph books for the charactors to sign .. you can also get the Country stamps and often a CM from that country will write something in thier language and a translation in the book too .. thats what our granddaughters have done .. the year that the Mil Village was there, thier autograph books were full of wonderful things wrote by the CM's that worked there.

My DS's love their Penny Press Books don't forget to pack to ziplock bags one with quarters and one with pennies (each press takes two quarters and one penny). It so handy to have them ready just in case you pass a press.

This year I'm having a welcome basket made for my DS's for our arrival at the BC. It will have new penny press books, the Epcot Passports, new autograpph books and a Pal Mickey. The concierge planner is purchasing our stuff but if your interested.

Gifts of a Lifetime http://www.giftsofalifetime.com/shopping.html
has a welcome basket that's 50.00 it includes a EPCOT passport, Autograph Book, Pen, Mickey Ears, Pressed Penny book w/ one Pressed Penny. Plus a delicious surprise!

Not a bad price if you consider the individual price of all the item at WDW.

We bought our DGSs the passport books when we were at WDW in June. They were $10 ea. The CMs working at the different Kidcot stations stamped and wrote messages in the books. The boys thought they were great!

The passports come with stickers for each country. The CM that I bought ours from suggested we wait until we get back to where we were staying before attempting to put the stickers in the passports and we felt that was an extremely helpful suggestion. It was rather hard for us to get the backings off the stickers and took quite a bit of time.
