Meet & Greet IV

Okay folks! We have the weekend.......February 13th - 16th which is a long weekend for many since its Presidents Day on the 16th. I've already had one DCer tell me this will be a surprise for their significant other for Valentine's Day.:love

Last poll........... Which resort do we want to stay in? I have had several folks say they have no interest in All-Stars. Since there is a $10 difference per night to stay in a Moderate, that's the route I'm heading. Hopefully, this will please everyone who is planning on attending. Question is: Which one? ONE VOTE PER PERSON

Once again, I am asking only those who will attend to vote since they are the ones who will be actually staying in the resort chosen. BUT PLEASE, if you aren't going, we would love your feedback in a post below the question. You never know, your experience with a particular resort may be the difference in someone's decision...:D

Thanks again everyone!

I think its POR that's closed but I assume it will re-open at some point. You may have a point there...

POFQ is closed for refurbishment now (started in May).
When the FQ is completed they will be closing Riverside and starting the refurbishment there.

Anyone know when FQ is scheduled to re-open and Riverside is expected to close?

I voted No preference because I have never been to any of the choices. On another note, would anyone like to share a room to cut down on expenses? Like maybe someone who might want to come without their families but because they would be alone in a room couldn't justify the expense? To me,88 dollars a night is really expensive for just a hotel room.

Hmmm....Mickaholic, I hope we can help you out and find someone for you to double-up with. I'm sure as it gets closer, it will work out.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, it would be much cheaper to split the cost with another DCer.
Anyone????

Your welcome to share a room with me and my 3 kids, lol:dazed

Hopefully, the closer we get, Mickaholic, someone will want to go who also needs to share the cost. Let's keep our fingers crossed! ;pinch: Just don't give up hope!

Thanks, fellow DC'ers. It really depends on when we have to have our money in by. If we only have to pay one night's deposit and then pay the rest when we check in,I will probably have my income tax refund in by then(I always do my return ASAP!!)

Amy,

I called the front desk at Port Orleans Riverside last week to find out if FQ would be open when we go in March (we like to sneak over from Old Key West and "borrow" their food court:whistle: ) The CM told me it would be closed for at least another year (maybe more). Immediately when they are done with the complete refurbishment of FQ, then they will begin at POR.

Wish I could be there at the meet and greet. I'll be 30 days late for this one.....
