Oh No!
Alright, here it is a week and a half before we leave & I'm in soooo much pain. Went to the dr yesterday & he said there's a nerve that's affecting this one muscle that runs from my back along the ridge of my hip bone!!! All I know is it hurts!!! He gave me some great muscle relaxers for night time, & some pain pills for the day time that the verdict is still out on, but I'm just hoping it goes away before we leave for WDW. Any prayers and/or pixie dust would be greatly appreciated.:cry: :cry:

Oh my goodness, Ilvminne!! How horrible. :cry: Lots of Pixie Dust your way hoping that not only do the day time pills work, but that by next week ALL of you pain goes away!! Be very good to yourself this next week, and rest as much as you can!!!!

I FEEL YOUR PAIN! Is it sciatica? That is what it sounds like. I had some back issues and pain. My doc reccommended I go to a foot Dr. who in turn prescribed orthotics (Custom fit) My back, hip and leg pain is pretty much non existant now!:)

hon I am so sorry :( I had posted teasing you about how close you were to going in that other thread and then you mentioned your back hurting. Ok .. I am sending just tons of happy thoughts, pixie dust and prayers. Its going to be ok for you!!! But now you slow down a bit and take care of your self. Your going to be fine by the time you leave :) good things happen for good people !! your heart is so good that this is not going to keep you down.

Oh no, ilvminnie! I feel your pain. I have had so much back pain thru my pregnancies and just from lifting my boys! I know you can think of nothing else but the ache in your back...it just stinks!
I used to ice my back during the day and use a heating pad at night. Sometimes even getting on the treadmill at a slow pace would loosen up the muscle. Hope you find something that works and you feel better!!!!

Thanks everyone. I've been feeling the prayers & pixie dust all day. I'm doing better...I've still got some pain & can't bend properly & have to watch how I move, but there's been a lot of improvement even since this morning. I'm not rushing it, though. Want to make sure I can run around WDW like the kid I am when I'm there. But it truly is wonderful to know there are folks like all of you that I can come to for support & prayer. Thanks again.:love: :love:
