How'd You Come across DC?
I was just thinking, and trying to remember how I found Disney Central, and was curious as to how all of you came across this Great Disney Site.
....I had bought the Unofficial guide to WDW, and in it were some disney sites. I decided to check them out. And while doing that, one of those sites referenced Disney Central. For the longest time I didn't sign up, and would just check the announcements on the front page. Then I realized there was a forum, and started reading it. I had never posted to a forum, and was paranoid to even try to attempt it....but I finally signed up, and started posting away. Mickey made me feel so comfortable, it was great! I was so addicted to it the first 6 months it was awful! I remember the site going down and I would almost panic wondering what was wrong LOL. I definately get my Disney Fix here. So...how did YOU find Disney Central?? :) :)

What a great idea for a thread!!!
I was doing a Google search on the infamous Quick & Casual Vouchers and was sent to a post on this forum. I read that one thread and everyone seemed so genuinely interested in helping everyone else. In fact, someone was offering her extra Q&C to anyone interested and I responded to her via email. She was so nice and the threads seemed so different from the others I had been reading that I immediately registered. :D Of course the rest is history.... addiction .... new friends ... occasional panic from server being down .... I think we've all been through it...;) |

I found DC by accident.......NOW.... I call it fate/destiny!;)
I couldn't access the WDW web site, and I had been trying for days with no luck.:dazed Well, on the "matching site" page there was , a little senetence that asked, "Are you having trouble accessing the WDW web page?" YES!! So, I clicked on it and it connected me to a DC thread of others having the same problem! I even learned how to "clear my cookies"...which I had never even heard of! It worked, and everyone had been so nice, well, THE REST IS HISTORY...and yesterday I became a Big Cheese...LOVE THIS SITE AND ALL OF YOU!!!!:) :) Amy

I came across it by pure accident when I was searching for info on the food and wine festival. In fact that was my first post and Mickey answered it. I've been hooked since then.

I was doing some research to prepare for our Mar 2002 trip & came across this site. Don't even remember what I was searching on at the time, but I'm glad I was looking for whatever it was! Like Goofette, I had never posted or even been interested in discussion boards or chat rooms or anything like that. But as soon as I plugged in to DC I was hooked. Now you can't shut me up!!! But I love all of you.  :) :)
