College Football is just a month away. I am so pleased to see so many Gamecocks on this board.

Of course I see many other great Colleges and Universities represented by their fans here too. And I hope your team wins all the games they play unless (of course) they are playing the University of South Carolina. I mean, its just one game. With only the exception of a rematch in the SEC Championship game which only could possibly include Ole Miss, Arkansas, and LSU this year.

So good luck to you and cheer for your team. As a matter of Fact do it right now on this thread!

What can I say about my alma mater except -

2002 National Champions!

Can't wait for football season! I am actually in trouble with DH because I scheduled our trip during football season, he was like "what are you thinking - we'll miss two Saturdays and a Sunday!"

Better find my CD of TBDBITL (The Best D*** Band in the Land) and get Sloopy cranked up!

The great 2002 NCAA Football Champions of Ohio State University! I can guarantee there were alot of Gamecock fans cheering hard for the Buckeyes! 14-0 ! The perfect season!

It was a fun note for our disappointing season that the last team to beat Ohio State was the University of South Carolina. I'm sure you hope it remains that way. ;)

Perhaps we can play our way back to your level...Oh what a level.

YEAH, GO GAMECOCKS!! All we have been talking about in our household for the past week is FOOTBALL. Especiall, SEC and ACC football I can't wait for the season to kick off! I am one of a handful of women who TRULY LOVE FOOTBALL. I believe there are some of ladies on here who are with me! :D This should be a fun place when the season cranks up!

I actually root for three college teams:

Middle Tennessee (my alma mater - hubby played football there)

University of SC (They pay us both to be fans....)

And anyone who plays Clemson! LOL! :whistle:

I am rooting for the Gamecocks to take me to the Citrus Bowl in Orlando this year.....so close a couple of years ago.

You'll find me in the parking lots on game day...riding around on my golf cart... arguing with the drunks and such... Make sure to say hello if you see me

I might ought to clarify... LOL! I am not a random fan driving around harassing the drunks! HAHHA.... I am in charge of the parking for USC football games for 14,000 booster members. :bandit Anyway, its all a part of my job!

Go Herd!

I am a fan of Marshall University and an alumni.

Hope you all have heard of the Thundering Herd, which has won 5 straight bowl games and has produced pro football players such as Randy Moss, Chad Pennington (QB for NY Jets), Troy Brown (reciever for NE Pats who was a major player when they won the Super Bowl), and the newest QB for Jacksonville (whenever he reaches a contract agreement) Byron Leftwich.
