Thanks for the memories Bob

I know this is not a Disney subject but how could we not pay tribute to Bob Hope? What are your favorite memories of him? Mine are of the tv shows durning war time and staying up late babysitting and watching his movies. He was very funny .

Thanks Bob!

I remember in the early 80's he came to texas a&m for a show. I remember not having too high hopes for it being really funny, because he was 80 then, and how could he relate to college students?. It was by far the funniest show I have ever seen, and i was hurting after the show i had laughed so hard!

Thanks Bob.

I will always remember Bob Hope for the hilarious tribute to the annual college football All-Americans. I also remember some funny moments with Lucille Ball.......

I am so sad to see all of the superstars of years ago passing away.... I feel like they were real people compared to alot of the "stars" of today.

Thanks.....for the memories........

Bob Hope was the greatest, such a genuine person.

Growing up, I loved watching his specials on t.v., he always made the whole room laugh from youngest to oldest.

I am going to rent a couple of his old comedies that he did with Bing Crosby, and share the laughs with my boys.
Those classic movies are good clean fun for the whole family and the laughs never go out of style.
God bless him!

You're welcome Tinkerbell. Even though I never got the chance to meet him it feels like I lost my favorite uncle. The way he looked directly into the camera it was like he was just looking at me and trying to make me laugh. He had such a way about him. And though he did not tour or make any movies in the past few years it is still sad to know that he is not here anymore.

Completely agree! I wish the so-called "stars" of today could have this much wit, talent & charm without resorting to toilet humor, etc. Bob Hope & Lucille Ball were 2 of my absolute favorites...

I always loved the "Road" movies. But he has a special place in my heart for what he did for the morale of our troops overseas at difficult times like Christmas & Thanksgiving! We were talking at work today...you know, I used to like Harrison Ford until he dumped his wife of many years for that skinny little nothing. All of a sudden I didn't like him anymore. You never had that problem with Bob Hope. Always a man of character & huge heart...not to mention a great entertainer.

There will never be another Bob Hope. The Hollywood folks need to learn a lesson from this great man. He knew the real meaning of being a True American Hero!!! He will be missed!!!
