Pixie Dust and Prayers for Me too, Please!

I just found out this morning that my particular department is "downsizing" and I am being let go:cry: It has been a horrible day. Unfortunatly, that job is the *only* source of income for me and my ds, so things are going to be crazy for awhile. Also, being summer, no to many jobs are hiring...so i'm going to be busy job hunting. I know that all things happen for a reason, and one day I'll realize what the particular reason was for this happening...i just can't see it now. I do have until the end of August to work at my job(because they "need me until then"), so that is one bit of Pixie Dust, i guess.

More to the point of posting this, all our Disney Dreams right now are going to have to be put on hold. And I won't be around DC nearly as much as before (except maybe *at*work:whistle: :bandit )So I just wanted to let you all know why, and to just ask for a little bit of pixie dust and prayers. Everything always works out in the end I know, so i'm going to be thinking positive thoughts!! Thanks for letting me vent, guys!!

It must be a trend today, my sister was let go this morning from her job and my DH will find out tonight if he is effected or not.

I will pray for you to find an even better job! I will also pray for you to have peace and trust in the Lord for he always provides.

So sorry to hear about your job, but you are right everything happens for a reason and I am sure that you are going to find a new job that is 10 times better than your old one. I don't know what field you are in but I am always on the look out for prospects and WDW had several openings for accounting related jobs a couple of weeks ago. GOOD LUCK!!!

Heather, I am truely so sorry :( but I am going to send all the pixie dust, happy thoughts and prayers I can .. with all of us thinking of you, I know that you will not only find a new job but a better one.
