Who is going in 2005 for the 50th Anniversary?

We will be in WDW October 15-22 2005 for DD's 5th Birthday on the 16th. We will be lucky enough to be there during the 50th Anniversary celebration!! Anybody else?? I know it is early but I think the celebration will be HUGE! I"m glad we are going in March or I would just be going nuts!

I'm sure I'd love to be there, but with our jobs, anything during football season is out of the question.

I will be going to DLR for the 50th. Although it seems that WDW will have a lot of new additions.

I'm still working on planning my 2004 trip, now I've got an excuse to go in 2005 (not that I needed one).:p

50th Anniversary of Disneyland!!! It seems it will be celebrated at all the parks!

Okay...I knew it was the 50th for DL but I was trying to figure out what WDW would be celebrating. LOL! :laugh Thanks!

I will be in DL for the real 50th anniversary celebration on July 17, 2005! DL is starting their celebration of their 50th anniversary in April, 2005.

I'm sure I will also be in WDW a few times during 2005!

Nothing has been announced in the way of special parades, etc yet BUT as discussed in another thread WDW is getting several new attractions to celebrate so I'm sure there will be parades and stuff.

Anne, and everyone else:

It will be called something along the lines of "50 years of Disney parks" From what I understand it will be celebrated at every Disney park across the globe. Part of the celebration is to introduce at least one major attraction at each park. So far this is appearing to be true. Many of the parks (including Disney Seas) have already announced major new attractions due around the time of the celebration getting started.

I would love to be going to Disneyland and being there for the 50th anniversary. why don't we try to have a DC meet-and -greet there!!!
