I hope someone can help me. My brother hasnt been to WDW since he was in the 7th grade. He is taking his wife and three children there this coming October. Since he considers me the "Disney expert" of the family he has asked me a question but I cant answer it! I told him I was sure the experts here at DC would be able to help. Here is the question: He has purchased the Dreammaker package with the silver option. Apparently this package has quite a few extras such as special parade viewing and things of that nature. He was wondering how he finds out about where to go for such events. Will he be receiving an information packet? Does he need special tickets for this sort of thing? How would he go about getting them?

Crystal..I will do the best I can to help. When we went in January we chose the dreammaker gold plan. It included many of the same things as the silver plan. I received the coupons for the special events with my final paperwork from the travel agent. It contained all of the documents, vouchers, and coupons for the package. Then upon check in at the hotel (and not before, no matter how many people I asked) they gave us a very nice brochure explaining everything in detail.

The special seating for the parades and fireworks is a roped off section specifically for package guests. You must have reservations. I called Disney a few weeks before I left to reserve the seating. Then, when you arrive just have your coupon and reservation number. In January, special seating for Fantasy in the Sky was at the Plaza, and for Illuminations it was at the Morocco Boat Launch.

Just tell him to let the CM he is talking to know that he has a Silver package and the hotel he is staying at. I made all of my PS's and reservations before I left home, and never had a problem. He should also be able to make the reservations once he arrives.
