Gay Days @ WDW 2004

First of all let me say that I don't mean to offend anyone here but I saw a horrible story on Fox News Channel last night about Gay Days at WDW in 2003. Apparently there were several incidents of people having sexual encounters (believe me I am not talking about kissing and holding hands) in and around the rides during Gay Days 2003. I can't imagine that this story is going to do much for the attendance issues at WDW, anyhow, the point I am trying to get to is that Gay Days 2004 will be from 06/03/04-06/05/04. I just thought that anyone planning a vacation for next year might like to be aware of this so that they can plan around it, I know there was another thread about this not to long ago that someone posted and reported the problems that they had while at WDW during the Gay Days Weekend.

Just a bit of info I didn't intend to offend if I did, but I really would be furious if I wound up at WDW during this weekend with my 2 yr. old DD and these types of things were going on.

I agree 100%. WDW is a family place and no matter what your "preference" is, there is positively no reason to make public displays of affection like that. WDW is one of the few places where you can trust that your children and family are in good hands and people like that just ruin the magic.:(

guys I have reliable sources that this happened not at pleasure Island like they want you to believe but at Orlando night clubs also I have seen PDA by hetrosexuals

Trust me PDA does not bother me whether it me homosexual or heterosexual ex. holding hands, an innocent smooch, or hugging but the stuff they showed on the news last night was way beyond any of that (just picture two dogs I'll leave it there). I don't want these kinds of things going on around me while I am on vacation or anywhere else, whether it be 2 men, 2 women, or a woman and a man. I just don't want to see it.:(

err.. what you saw wasn't taken at Gay Days @ WDW. It was taken in the Parliament House, an Orlando area Gay Bar. If you want news, why are you watching a talk show- this wasn't on a regular newscast, it was on O'Reilly

I honestly do appreciate the info that you have supplied. I get from your signature that you are an active cast member at MK? Maybe? If the info that they supplied on the show last night was wrong then I certainly hope that WDW executives jump on it quickly because the film clips that they showed were really bad and were made to imply that WDW executives know that this goes on and choose to ignore it. Thanks again for the info, I am truely relieved.

I lived at Pleasure Island my first 2 years as a CM....so I know those clubs inside and out, what you can and cannot get away with. That wasn't PI.. trust me.

i can't believe people would do such a thing in wdw. holding hands and a quick kiss is fine just as long as it's appropriate and decent. but from what you reported, i can't believe it happened. i was in wdw a day after gay days. weren't these people taught to think before you act?

uh tragic we already established it didnt happen on disney property it happened at orlando nightclubs outside of the park
