When to make PS?
I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but I'm just so excited to be going to WDW! I do have another question though. I want to make PS at 50's Prime Time Cafe (MGM), Sci-Fi Drive in Theater (MGM), Crystal Palace (MK), and of course, the Character Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle (MK). I was just wondering how soon in advance I can make these PS and if anybody else has any other suggestions for restaurants. It's gonna be tough to pick them though because my boyfriend is the pickiest eater I know and basically only eats American food! He's weird! Thanx for your help!

Don't worry about asking questions, if you don't ask them, someone else will. Might as well be you.
You can make most PS up to 60 days in advance. For the majority of restaurants, you can call any time during those 60 days and get a PS for just about any time. If you want a certain time a certain day, call as soon as possible. There is no cost to make a PS, and you can always change or cancell them if needed. For character breakfasts, I would call firs thing, they tend to be the first things that are booked. Crystal Palace in particular, you should call early. Cinderella's is a different story. You must call at 7:00 AM EST exactly 60 days in advance if you hope to get anything. I would start calling at 6:45 AM just to be sure, and count on calling for a couple days in a row, and then plan everything else around when you get that PS. Start calling so that the first possible day to get a PS is the first possible day you could be in the MK for breakfast, and then keep calling each day for the days you will be there. If you have any questions about what day you can start calling, call (407) WDW-DINE and ask them, they will tell you the exact day you can start calling. As for suggestions, WDW is a great place to eat food from around the world. Most of it is totally Americanized and there is always something on the menu for picky eaters. Having said that, my favorite places in WDW are Spoodles and Flying Fish on the Boardwalk (Mediterranean and Fish, respectively), Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge (African), Kona Cafe in the Polynesian (for breakfast), and Akershus in Norway (Norwegian buffet). Jiko might be a stretch if he is a picky eater, but the others all have very safe items to choose from Akershus in Norway is a hidden gem. We didn't go for years because my kids were afraid they wouldn't like it, but we have gone the last couple of trips and they love it. let us know if you have any other questions. |
