Just wanted to let you all know we got moved into our new house. It's been an adjustment, but so far we really like the area here. Maegan started school yesterday and has already met some good friends whom she talks about all the time :) So that makes me really happy! I worried about her more than anyone since I knew it would be an adjustment starting a new school. We finally put our other house up on the market, so keep your fingers crossed for us that we'll sell it. :nervous

I haven't been on the board posting much, but I'm still enjoy reading everyone elses posts. I've got a lot of catching up to do!

I had some good news, Maegan has always asked to take art lessons, and where we lived, there was no where that gave lessons to children. Well...I found an art instructor here, that gives lessons to children, and the really great thing about it is....He used to be a Graphic Artist for guess who??....da da da da "DISNEY"!!!! Yay!!!! :D :laugh She's really looking forward to that. I keep telling her this move was just meant to be.

Anyway, just wanted to say Hi to you all. Hope everyone has had a great summer :) :)

I am so glad that things are working out well with your move. I know how worried you were about it. That is fantastic about the art lessons...it does look like it was meant to be! We are moving this weekend. I will be so gald when it is all over. It is so hard to move from one city to another especially when you are living out of town like I have been. I am so glad you are moved in, that's a big job and no fun. It sounds like it went well and Maegan is doing well. It must be nice to be together as a family again, too. I hope it only gets better from here.

Great to know your move is going good. We're moving this week, as well-to Atlantic Beach, FL. DH and his mom are going to meet DS and I, there. I'm almost finished with cleaning and packing...just got 2 more rooms left. After we get settled in next week, we're off to Disney on Sept. 1 for vacation. I've got pretty full days, but I don't mind, it winds the time down for vacation

I just wish my mother-in-law was more reasonable, in her travel plans. I don't know how she did it, but DH has agreed to drive her from Atlantic Beach to New Orleans, on Tuesday, because of some stupid frequent flier points or something like that:devil !!! I suggested that she just leave from the airport in Jacksonville, since it's not far away, but my MIL is determined to ruin my week! Don't get me wrong, I love having her visit but her timing and "plans" are all wrong, and DH dropped this bombshell on me, today, during one of our phone calls. Somehow, the stress of driving her this far, isn't as stressful as the thought of her flight being delayed, due to a hurricane!! This is the second thing that came to mind. At first, I sort of had a collection of thoughts {inconsiderate, I'm telling her "NO", what about all the other airports from Jax to New Orleans, but we have plans, I'm not changing/altering my plans, I can't put DH on the spot like this,}so, I'm going along with it. It's his mom...I can't ask him to reject his mother's request, although, I would-in a heartbeat-this time. I am praying, if there is a hurricane, let it start after we've dropped her at the airport. Am I being selfish? A part of me just feels so guilty for having these thoughts and feelings about my mother-in-law. Then there's logic, if it were anyone else I wouldn't hesitate saying "NEVER!" The drive to N.O. doesn't make any sense, especially, when Jacksonville is right there. I, usually, know what to do. But, this is different. She is the mother of my husband. He loves both of us and if I ask him to tell her no (she's refused leaving from Jax) that would make him uncomfortable. I have patience for many things, but ignorance has never been one of them....And this is, ignorant:dazed

Paula I am so glad to hear that you are finally settled in and that Meagan is lovig it there I was worrying about you and Meagan because of the school situation and the move. I am just glad you got there safe and sound . Meagan is so lucky to have an oppurtunity to have a teacher like that I am jealous lol

Disneyteacher, Maegan is really glad to be with her daddy again. 9 months for them being apart and only seeing each other on the weekends was starting to get old for her. To be honest though, it's been a bit of an adjustment for me :whistle: :laugh

Anne and Mickaholic, thanks to both of you. It's great to be back on the boards again. I wish I had more time though, I've missed so much. I really enjoy reading both of your posts though.

Tink, I thought about your Grandaughter when I signed Maegan up for the art lessons. I Love the drawing she did for you than your using as an avatar, she really is a VERY talented little girl. I know you're Very Proud. :)

Cheryl, I was really worried about Maegan too with this move. I'm not sure if I told some of you, but she was making herself literally sick at nights, crying and upset. So my prayers have LITERALLY been answered with her having the wonderful teacher she has, plus I feel God sent her a special little friend, who's made it so much easier. I feel so relieved.

iluvwdw2, my heart goes out to you. For one thing, you've got the stress of your move, that is something I don't ever want to do again in my lifetime! But then, what is your Mother In Law thinking?? You're being a VERY patient Daughter in law. Bless your heart, I don't know how you're handling it all so well. But.....one good thing. You're going to DISNEY!!! Woohoo! Just hang on long enough for your Vacation, then have the time of your life and let all the stress go. Hopefully your M-I-L will rethink what she's asking of your husband . If not, just keep your sites on your WDW Vacation :) :) And pm me if you need to vent. I've been spending several weeks with my mom throughout this move, so I feel for ya when it comes to mom.:laugh

Paula, Thanks for the pixie dust...I really need it! My husband and I are pretty much on our own for this move. I have been packing for weeks and it will be the same unpacking. Just can't wait for trip in Oct. I will be ready for it. Everyone think about me and pray that my back holds out!:laugh
