Hidden Mickeys, anyone?

Howdy!

I thought it would be kinda cool if we had a place where DC'ers could post reports and pictures of the various Hidden Mickeys that we've spotted in our travels to WDW...gives others a help in trying to spot them, but more importantly gives others inspiration to go find their own (and report back of course!).

Now, I realise that that are one or two sites out there dedicated to HMs already, but I figured, this is our site, and I want to see our pictures that we've taken. Plus, many of these other sites seem to degenerate into "it is" or "no it's not" a Hidden Mickey, and arguments can get quite heated. As far as I am concerned, if the viewer thinks it's an HM, then that's fine by me. The Mickey is in the eye of the beholder, or something...

Hopefully I'm not the only one here who thinks that would be a nice thread to thrive, so let's see what you can find! :)

To get the ball rolling, I'll post one I prepared earlier. Anyone know where this is? I'll tell you later if no-one's got it, but I suspect there's a few out there who know...

PS - Sorry if this thread is in the wrong forum...couldn't figure out where else to put it...maybe we need a set of forums for pictures??? Hmmm? :D ;)

Does it count if it's not really a Hidden Mickey, but you were so excited and Disney-fied you couldn't help but pretend it was? :laugh
I have a picture I took of some rocks in the sidewalk at the Poly...one of the "ears" (rocks) is a little skinny, but if you ask me it sure looks like Mickey! I also took a picture of--(this is strange, don't make fun of me)--water droplets on a water fountain after a rainstorm. They looked like Mickey, too!

It looks like one of the Hidden Mickeys on the big wooden doors at the entrance to Coronado Springs?

Bing!

Dznygrl...any pics are just fine....as for the water droplets, why not? Who's to say Uncle Walt's spirit doesn't influence Mother Nature herself in this magical place...?

...have to tell you Florida clouds look a TON like hidden Mickeys on a lot of days - even my 79 yo Dad was looking for them.

I think this is a great idea - I found the one hidden in the leaves at AKL, but it took me a half hour. I still can't find it in the picture I took, but give me a few G&T's and I might figure it out again... :D

MickeyMac, that is SO funny that you said this about the clouds!!! When I was on my way to the airport leaving to go home :( , I was just staring out the window at all of the clouds and it was like a Disney story was going on with the clouds, like an old fashioned cartoon!!! I was seeing Mickey faces, Mickey's body, clouds that looked like a Disney Cruise Ship, clouds that looked like Donald and all of the other Disney Characters....turning into a story as I watched! Hey, wait... I think that what I was experiencing was just a major symptom of PDD!!!!!! :dazed

Here's my DW (TINk 0368) pointing out a hidden Mickey clear as day, but nobody noticed it. This was by Momma Melroses Rest.

This is a real hidden Mickey, because unless your in my Disney Room, you'll never see it...so let me share it with you all. My DS (5) and I were at the Home Depot and he saw this cactus...look close. This is now our prized cactus.

When I read the original thread I thought about our 2 DGS seeing hidden Mickeys in the clouds as we were going from the airport to the resort. Those Florida clouds are amazing!!!!!
