Isabell, go out to sea!!!

I cannot believe after all this time and planning that our vacation is going to be washed out to sea! This week is not going very well first a hurricane then ATA runs off the runway at Midway airport which BTW is the airport and airlines I am going from!!!!!:nervous my DH's best friends mother (following me?) is going to have open heart surgery sometime this week or weekend!! They say bad things come in 3 hopefully this is as bad as it's gonna be!!!!

okay, just wanted to vent:cry: , thanks for reading!!!!!

Yikes! ! ! !

I had not heard of the ATA flight running off the runway. We also fly in and out of Midway a lot and that is pretty scary stuff. Since it was not all over the news I assume no one was hurt.

By the way, I hope everything works out for your friends mother.

ps; For a truly scary ride fly a larger jet into White Plaines, NY sometime ! ! ! !

okay maybe I do have some nice to hear kinda news, My dear parents are going with us to wdw my dad has never gone to wdw only DL and that was ages ago, I think I was 13 years young anyways he's been kinda "not eager to go" on this vacation, a little while ago I was talking to him getting all disney excited asking him if he was getting a little happy about going, he replys "no" I asked him why and he tells me he doesn't like the fast rides, like I am going to put him on space mountain and leave him there!! (though the thought did occur briefly) I told him there was way more to do than ride fast rides, pirates of the carribean, hm, small world, jungle cruise, etc etc... so he did sound a little happier then the isabell thing came up! I can't win bah humbug!!! wait till we have breakfast at cindy's I am going to get a picture of him with as many princesses I can!!;)
Father's boy oh boy!!!
maybe I will get pal mickey and he can carry it around all day and listen to him!!!

no one was hurt, the plane was trying to land and ran off the runway!!:nervous

Just keep thinking those happy thoughts.
We took my Dad this year and no one thought he would like it but he had a blast. My step-mother was the bummer of the trip. She ended up sick and then my little brother gave her a hard time and to top it off she got lost driving home. She had her good and bad days.

Hope the trip goes better than expected with the rain. I will say a prayer for your dh's mothers friend (I think I remembered that right).

I have a feeling your Daddy will really surprise you and enjoy himself as much as the kids will. And he will love meeting the Princesses.

Well, Jacki, I'm trying to look at it this way...I can go to WDW and wear a poncho/use an umbrella, get completely drenched every day, but still love every second of the magic...or I can just not go. I could cancel my trip that I've been anticipating for about 363 days (since my last trip.)

Hmm...which option sounds better?!?!

The whole bad weather thing has got me kinda bummed. But I will not...repeat, NOT let it put a damper on my trip!!

Hi Jacki ~~~~ I have just checked out all forecasts and possibility of precip. while we are there and there is not a threat at least as of yet for it to be completely horrible!!! Also Parkhopper agreed to PM me with the outlook forcast for next week and I will inturn let you know what it is!!!

Hopefully, luck will be on our side!!! I have been checking daily and as of late it has been better than August!!! (knock on wood!)
