thank you so very much :)

I really do not have time right now to pm all of those that have given me so much support recently so I would like to say thank you this way :) and let you know that my husband did very well during the surgery and he is doing very very well right now. I am headed back to the hospital in just a minute or two, and this seemed the fastest way to say thank you !!
If he continues to do as well as he has he maybe coming home tomorrow :)
my heart is so full right now because I feel in a large way a lot of you here have helped with your prayers and pixie dust.

O and I must must add this quickly .. while he was in holding for surgery we found out that one of his surgical nurses was just like us!!! she and her family were WDW fans!!! of course there was a bond right away!!!! in fact .. we were hugging each other like old friends right before I had to go to the waiting area and he was wheeled in to surgery .. and today again .. as I passed her in the hall down stairs .. we talked for a minute ( I had wore my new Mission:Space t-shirt for luck ) and hugged again !! Like I told my husband .. Disney people are just always the nicest people !!! I want to be sure and tell her about DC when I see her again .. and if she has a pc invite her to join us !!!

Oh Tink, I feel awful. I didn't know your DH was going in for surgery. I haven't been checking the boards as much as I'd like and I guess I missed the news. I'm bad about catching what's on the front page and not looking for other posts from the day. I do hope he recovers quickly. Prayers and pixie dust coming your way. Take care!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your hubby... and big hugs to you in dealing with it all. I, too, never saw anything about all of this... I am sure Megara sends her love as well

sorry I didnt really post anything just some pm's but thank you all !!
we found out recently that he had some damage to bones in his neck that were cutting his spinal cord in two.. the dr's believe that it was caused by some of the very bad falls he has had. the damage was found during a routine MRI to check for any new lesions. the neuro-surgeon said that he would be come paralized if this wasnt taken care of right away.
this is why I havent been posting much .. I have been under a lot of stress and worry and as I have said before I hate posting things that cause anyone to feel bad, and I hate having my post be depressing.
any way he is home this morning (which is is 50th birthday !!) and doing pretty good !!
I didnt get a chance to see our Disney Surgical Nurse before bringing him home this morning
